NYE at La Hacienda San Miguel Epcot?

Hello,

I know its too soon for NYE, but if there is something I have learned about Disney is to plan in advanced..!

I want to take my parents to Epcot for NYE, but they are worried about the crowds and do not like the idea about waiting hours to find a good spot for Illuminations. So, I was thinking about getting a reservation at La Hacienda San Miguel, do you recommend it?

Reservations for Dec 31 will be open in just a few days, can I do it at that time? Or should I wait until november when all the NYE events are announced?... I am not sure if La Hacienda hosts a separated event for that night? I read here that last year, the special evening started at 9:30p.m. and ended at 1a.m...Thats the one I do not want to miss! Does anyone know if its expensive?

I don't know if La Hacienda de San Angel will be having a special NYE event again this year, but according to the Disney Food Blog,on Dec 31, 2015 the event was $280.13 per adult.

There were other venues in Epcot with NYE festivities, although they haven't announced what is planned for this year. Here's an article describing what was offered two years ago:
