I'm stuck.....

Which would you choose for NYE-DHS or Epcot?

We love DHS and spent NYE there years ago pre fastpass+...and when more attractions were available.

We love Epcot. Mainly worried crowds will make us miserable.

3 kids ages 7 to 10.

Weigh in with your opinions/experiences!

Epcot. Hands down best park.

Crowds are obviously crazy but both fireworks shows are incredible. There’s so much room is Epcot that it doesn’t feel as confined as the other parks.

I can’t remember how late they are open but after the midnight fireworks there was a mass exodus. We walked on the headliners before heading out. Everyone else was rushing to leave (well, rushing to WAIT to leave.) definitely worth hanging around to ride stuff depending on how late they’re keeping it open.

We made sure to snag an ADR so we would have a reprieve from the crowd for a bit in the evening. Le Cellier was great for this as it is a less hectic environment than some
of the other Epcot TS places.

If your 7 year old can handle walking around the parks way past midnight, I'd choose Epcot.

Another vote for Epcot. Size makes it more accommodating for even the large NYE crowd.

Don't they do the NYE Fireworks at like 8pm as well as midnight? Might be an option to not keep the kids up too late. Can anyone confirm?

It’s not the NYE fireworks, it’s just Illuminations, maybe with the holiday tag.

Another vote for Epcot. We spent NYE in Epcot a couple of years ago with my 3 kids who were preteens & teens at the time. We watched the early fireworks (around 6pm?) We had a nice relaxing early dinner and watched some of the DJ's in the countries. We headed out around 8pm to celebrate the rest of our night at our resort. Epcot can handle NYE crowds better than any other park.

Epcot easily. We do MK on the 30th and Epcot on NYE..I wouldn't do any other park on NYE

We have been doing this for the past 6/7 years!

Epcot seems to hold the crowds better and there are more food/beverage options as well as entertainment at most of the Countries. If you need an escape between the two firework shows future world is much less crowded than the WS. We usually don't do to many ADR's on our trips but for NYE we have a lunch and dinner planned to have a place to sit and relax for a while.

Our first park day is actually going to be nye! We did this once years ago before fastpass+. We have a lunch and dinner adr booked at epcot...thinking the same thing regarding breaks. Now here's hoping some fast passes will be available
