None from Sacramento. For the 4th year in a row they have canceled the community fireworks show. I think the cost of liability insurance is the issue. Too much violence associated with the show, shootings, stabbings and two homicides.

I usually try to catch the ones in London before going to bed. That five hour time difference comes in very handy . . .

I love fireworks, but I fear I won't be able to enjoy them as we have a very nervous dog and fireworks terrify him! We just had the neighbours let off one rocket, just one, and IMMEDIATELY Charlie was cowering underneath my feet! Poor thing just doesn't understand!

At least the BBC posts the UK's fireworks later on on YouTube so you can watch them at your convenience in the future.
