Now that the fall 2019 itineraries are out, we are going to book an October cruise from NYC to Bermuda. Anyone been on this cruise? What did you like or not like about the cruise? We live w/in driving distance of NYC so that is why we want this particular cruise. TIA!

I'm excited about the 7 night Bermuda cruise with a stop in Boston. Can't wait to hear from those going this fall!!!
Sailing out of NYC is so beautiful we did the Canada/ New England sailing in 2012.

Fall 2018 is the first time Disney is doing Bermuda. We are booked for one of these cruises because we are less than an hour from the port. Love that we don’t have to fly. If you book it now for 2019 you will still have plenty of time to cancel for a full refund if the reviews from people aren’t good. Best to lock in opening day prices while you can.

Following along. Burmunda is a finalist for our fall 2019 cruise.

We are looking at one of theses as well as want to go out of NY and none of the 7day cruises I think will work date wise

Thanks for the info everyone! I will eagerly wait for the trip reports. We are 95% doing this cruise (and definitely booking it next week). It will be a great diversion in mid-October. NYC is driving distance for us too!

We will also be booking next week for October 2019. Has anyone sailed on the Dream. We need recommendations for which cabins to request & which to avoid. We need 2 Deluxe Ocean View cabins.

Correction: need suggestions for cabin requests on the MAGIC (not the Dream) for Bermuda trip 2019. Any info on cabins to request OR avoid for Deluxe Ocean View on the Magic would be appreciated. (First time DCL cruiser).

We will be on the 10/24 cruise this fall. And yes, this fall is DCL first Tim to Bermuda.

I hope to put together at least a quick report when we get back. I can not wait.
I was to Bermuda 16 years ago.

We are on the 10/29/18 sailing and will be looking forward to your report. Our last cruise to Bermuda
was in 1986 and we also honeymooned at the Hamilton Princess in 1977, 41 years ago.

We've been on the Wonder (sister ship to the Magic) and stayed in a category 9C on deck 2, 2116, right at the aft elevators. We loved the location so much that we're booked in 2108 on our upcoming Magic cruise. (Only 1-2 floors from the MDR's, etc; easy elevator access to get to deck 9.) If you have 3 people (or less) to a room, look at a category 9B room on deck 2--slightly more expensive than a 9C, but it's midship. There are only a couple rooms that sleep 4 in the 9B category--and they're located near the 9C rooms. For 9C rooms...at the aft elevators I could slightly feel vibrations...just enough for me to know that I don't want to go any further aft than maybe 2118. I'm not sure how the forward rooms are.

9D rooms on deck 1 have 2 small portholes. 9C rooms on deck 2 have 1 big porthole. 9B rooms on deck 2 have 1 big porthole that is slightly bigger than the 9C rooms. 9A rooms are on the upper decks, forward, with 1 big porthole...and they cost more than the 9B/9C/9D rooms.
