Since the ticket are included in our cruise price.
If we discide NOT to get off the boat, will we still get the 1 day hopper tickets?
And can I use them at a later date?

Normally if you buy tickets at WDW they don't expire until you active them, by using it on your 1st day..
Then you have 14 days to use it..

IIRC, the admission given on prior cruises that stopped at PC were only valid for that one day.

We were on one of these cruises in 2012. There were many people that were angry because they either had AP's or did not want to go to WDW. The tickets were non-transferable and had to be used on that one day.

How much time do they give you, isnt it over an hour drive each way, plus everyone would be trying to board and deboard at the same time

The listed all ashore time is 6:30am and the all aboard time is 11:45pm, so you could get a decent day in at the parks even with the 1 hour+ commute time each way.

Others are correct, when we did this on the prior cruises, it was a use it or lose it ticket. It was also a long day - plenty of time. My daughter and I opened Hollywood Studies that morning - went to all 4 parks throughout the day including dinner at Chef Mickey's and closed Magic Kingdom.

With all due respect, why would anyone take this particular cruise if they didn't want to go to WDW? The beauty of this cruise is the combination of a cruise and a day in the parks. Plus, the buses leave at all times throughout the day and return at all times as well. You sign up in advance for which park you want to go to first and at which time. It is very organized and you can stay from park opening to closing if you wish. The thought of it being unorganized with people running to buses is not how it works.

When we did one of these from Galveston in January 2013 we were on a bus to Epcot at 6:30 am. We made rope drop for morning EMH. On the bus to the park I contacted my TA and had her book me a room at Pop Century so we could go take a nap. Which was heavenly. Hubby even took a shower to refresh afterwards. We hit 3 parks during our 1 day. Got to about 5:00 at the MK and we were all standing in the middle of the sea of humanity asking each other "What next?" Nobody had anything they wanted to do. We collectively decided we'd rather be on the ship so we made a beeline for our bus back to the port. When we walked back onto the ship around 6:30 it was the biggest relief ever! LOL!

If I did one of these itineraries again I'm not so sure I'd go to the parks. The cruises are such a laid-back experience for me. The parks are so the polar opposite when I go. It felt like there was this day smack in the middle of my cruise vacation that totally disrupted the groove. :D

This is super helpful info to have, thanks! Following this thread.... :)

We took the 2012 sailing out of NYC and did not go to the parks. My daughter is a space buff so we took the opportunity to go to Kennedy Space Ctr. She loved it so much she wanted to go back on our next cruise. We are taking one of her friends this time so we'll be hitting MK. I was actually pretty excited! I am wondering how the hustle and bustle of the park is going to affect our laid back ness of the cruise.

Can anyone tell me if food vouchers (or something similar) were provided for the day at WDW on previous sailings?
We are booked on the 10/29/16 cruise and that's about the only information I can't find info on! : )
Thanks!

Only transportation and admission were provided.

Thank you! I was afraid that was going to be the answer. Was hoping since the cruise fare covered all other meals...oh well. Still a great deal!

Do you know if you wanted to book reservations, is that something you would be able to do through the cruise activities section, or through WDW directly?

Sorry - total newbie to the park!!

Does anyone remember if the water parks are also included ?

I believe it's just a one-day park-hopper ticket, no WPF&M option. You could certainly go to a water park if you so desire -- probably take the bus to/from AK easily for Blizzard Beach. But you'd have to purchase a one-day water park ticket.

Actually, cruise fare does not necessarily cover meals while in port unless you remain onboard or return to the ship. There will be meals served onboard for those who choose to do a shorter day at the parks or skip the parks entirely.

Other than signing up for your transportation, I believe reservations would be made directly through the WDW system. It remains to be seen how FP+ may be handled...

Enjoy your cruise and park visit!

I totally agree...This is why I am choosing this cruise..CC and WDW are the only ports i need and rest are sea days. I AM THRILLED! This is my 8th disney cruise and frankly, i am not crazy with other ports of call--(ie: Bahamas, St. Maartin, etc) The only other enjoyable cruise i did was the Disney Panama Cruise! I would do that again!

To resurrect this thread for a related question, does anyone remember if there's an ability to let a non-cruiser use the ticket? I know it's technically non-transferrable. But I have an annual pass. I have family in the area who could pick us up from the ship and take us to WDW, so my DH (non-AP) and a family member could use the two tickets provided. Does that make sense? Does anyon know if that would that be allowed or possible based on the logistics?

It was very orderly. You let them know which park you wanted to start at and they had lines set up in the atrium. You waited in the line for the bus to the park that you wanted. They very orderly walked you to your bus as a group. You then had to park hop on your own. They also handed out a schedule that listed the last time for bus departure from each park. You could easily get a full day at WDW. We just went to one park but many people hit more than one. The tix were for that day only.

I think what they did last time was the ticket was on your key to the world card and you had to have valid photo ID that matched the name on the Key to the world card to use the ticket.
