NY Yankee fans . . .

yeah - i wanna know what happened there too!

last night's game was an embarassment. but one from which they will recover.

Hey, if the Yankees crushed everyone every night, they'd all get discouraged and there'd be no one to play. Gotta throw 'em a few games every once in awhile to keep it interesting.

How's that for spin?

I Really enjoyed it :teeth:

I bet George will be reviewing the salaries today

The Yankees can't win everything:teeth: I think it's pretty great

But I live in Red Sox nation:crazy:

They'll recover, they always do...doesn't matter if they lose a string of games once in a while, they'll always be champs. It's just the way of the world. :teeth:

:confused3 I guess someone forgot to fill in the Florida Marlins (...and the Anaheim Angels and the Arizona Diamondbacks...) about the way of the world? :p :p

Statistical aberrations. Clearly a fluke... er... three flukes ;)

LOL. And you should have seen the celebrations when the Marlins didn't follow the rules.

This will be the only time you'll see a Twins fan say this, but...

WAY TO GO, TRIBE!

I'm so excited to see the BoSox catching up in the standings. I've always liked them... probably because I've always hated the Yankees. :)

At Fenway Park last night, the cheers, unrelated to any action on the field, were a mixture of laughter, excitement and growning disbelief as the number on the scoreboard kept changing. 6-0, 10-0, 16-0. A final roar went up when it finally changed to 22-0 and it grew slowly as people wondered at the noise until they too saw that amazing tally.

GO RED SOX!
