Previously, we stayed in one room for 5 at Port Orleans with our 3 kids. Now we have 4 kids. Will they allow 5 plus a 1 y/o in a pack and play in the 5 person rooms at Port Orleans and Caribbean Beach?

We also have 4 kids, our youngest is still under 3 and doesn't count towards room occupancy. We haven't stayed at PO or CB, but have stayed at poly, GF, and BC in a room for 5 + an infant. We've had no problems so far. Our 4 are 6 and under, so it works for now! If looking for rooms on the Disney website, just put in the adults and ages of the kids and it will tell you if you are over the room occupancy or not. Have fun planning!

Thank you!

Well, I just tried looking at availability at PORS, entering two adults, three children over three, and a two year old (I could only choose infant or two year old to keep it under 3yo), and it didn't tell me I needed two rooms, or say it was unavailable due to party size. It just brought up room rates for the room types that have occupancy available for five adults. I would go in and play around with resorts and dates and see what it says for your group.

I booked a room based on two adults and two kids and then afterwards, since we were using the magical express, I called and told them that there would also be a two year old coming so they could add him to the room and magical express.

What you have is just fine for those specific resorts. I have done it, and would never do it again, but it is legal in Disney's eyes. Once your youngest is 3 they will no longer allow it. Just know it will be very very tight, especially if you are adding a pack and play. And be very organized!

At Port Orleans, only Alligator Bayou sleeps five in a room (plus one under the age of three). French Quarter and the Mansions (POR) only sleep four. You may have to call to make the reservation.
