Hi everyone. My family and I will be arriving in Disney Aug 24 with a split stay 24- 28 at the ASM and 28- 31 at AKL. Staying with both sets of parents so we booked a 2 bedroom suite at AKL. Couldn't handle more then 3 nights with everyone in the same space (2 kids and 5 adults)

Question- on the tour of the restaurants is that an extra charge or something do for free?

Hi everyone - we just booked a 1BR at AKV for March 20-22. It's our first time staying at AKL and are so excited to try it. We booked the savannah view so hopefully that will be a big hit with the kids.

is this a recent picture? When we were at the WL in February, I noticed they now have tile in the entry and bathroom that looks like wood. I wondered if AKL was going to go to this look too

Yes it was only 3 weeks ago when we were at Kidani. I did not notice a tile but we had an accessible room as I am disabled so our room might have differed slightly. Lovely room! I was thrilled with it ( and the whole resort ) .

We leave on Saturday and arrive Sunday morning. We have never done a 2 bedroom, so we blew all our DVC points on this one. We won't be going next year because of an Alaskan cruise so figured why not. I keep teasing my grandson that if he is bad we will make him keep riding Small World over and over. That is the one ride he didn't like last time. Too girly for him, he preferred Space Mountain. Me I am looking forward to that luxurious bathroom in the Master bedroom. Hope to check out the resort a little bit more this time. I always say I will spend more time there, but we never do.
