Was it just hanging out on the sidewalk or was it going somewhere? How big was it? Was it during a busy time of year? I don't need a picture. That will make it all the more real. Then I will have two memories to repress. I am working on putting the rat back in the vault :).

I saw a rat on my last trip. :scratchin. I think it was at Chefs de France.

Weirdly we did NOT see a rat at Chefs. Thank goodness my 2 yo fell asleep. I kept promising him a rat.

Years ago we saw 2 snakes--both on TSI. One was on land and one in the water.

We we taking the lesser used sidewalk from the Canada area over to ride the Figment ride (yeah, we are some of the few who still do)...
A little girl was walking on the ledge holding onto the fence right in front of us. She screamed and jumped down as it crawled out - almost on my DS13's foot! I screamed & jerked him back. The snake just kept going, slowly, all the way across - from right to left - headed toward Canada.
DH stayed back and snapped a picture with his phone. Someone on Facebook said it was a red rat snake.

Omg, if I saw a snake at Epcot, or anywhere for that matter, I would shatter all the glass with my screams. I think I saw a rat once, I will have to ask dh where since I have now repressed the memory. I think it was in a park. Wait. I was with my brother in October, adventure land, during mnsshp. I almost had a heart attack. He thought it was hilarious. I forgot all about that. I work in NYC and see them there but not in my beloved pristine wdw!!

I have seen h2o+ in home goods. Is that the same stuff? I have sea salt from gf. Looking forward to trying citrus!!

We saw a rat in Epcot as well in November... he was running along the cement in the water just outside Rose & Crown. We joked that Remy must be out for his stroll from France.

Does anyone happen to know how far of a walk it could be to the lobby if your room is located towards the end of one of the wings in Jambo House?

If you are at the very end it can seem far when you're tired at the end of the night, but it really isn't that bad. And, you're inside in the heat/AC (whichever applies).
It is nothing like the walk to the 80's building at POP.

Sorry, don't know the actual distance.

Another thing that makes it seem shorter is that you are walking on carpet instead of sidewalks, so it's a little easier on the legs. :goodvibes

We were to the left of the lobby, down to the first section of rooms that sticks back toward Kidani and the walk was super easy and much shorter than it looks. :thumbsup2

Just booked our first ever visit to our home resort AKV for August to celebrate my DD's birthday. Excited to be staying here for the first time!
