Now which ticket is everyone buying for Halloween Horror Nights XX!!!

I think you would be better going with # 2 to save some money. Express will help you cut the wait times down so if you're at the gates around 5pm when the line starts to form, you should get into the park pretty quickly when the outside gates open.

You might want to think about purchasing an AP so you can have it in case you wanted to come and go whenever you want. Of course that's more money but you'd get the discounts and free parking after your first visit. It might be worth considering. Plus you would be able to purchase your HHN tickets at the AP discount.

I was leaning towards option number 2. I'd be using MEARS transportation (from Disney property) so parking wouldn't be an issue for me. I was planning on arriving early anyway so I could hit up city walk for a little while. I also read that some attractions at Universal Studios will still be open for HHN so that's always a plus. I wish that I could get an AP but unfortunately, this is a budget trip for me. Maybe next year though.

The main attractions that are open will probably have pretty short lines...however if they are running the Rockit I imagine people will want to ride at night and it will have its usual lines up over an hour.

That will work and not having to worry about driving means you can have a drink or two...if you indulge.

Not all the time...the attractions are very popular during HHN too and hopefully the HR3 will run this year. It wasn't running last year due to the lack of safety nets but I think that's been taken care of now. I don't recommend doing the attractions during HHN until you've seen everything first. The attractions are there all the time but HHN is only for a month.

This is my last question... i promise :lmao: If I purchase the express pass for HHN, will that include express access for the rides as well? I'm mainly just looking for HRRR, The Mummy, Jaws, and ET (guilty pleasure ride). With 2 days, I should have more than enough time to do what Im planning on... At least I hope that I will!

purchased the stay & scream for one day.

(wishing we had gotten more than one) Does anyone know if there is some sort of discount for the frequent thing for on site guests? *ehem* maybe I can accidentally make some changes :rolleyes1

ET isn't open for HHN and express isn't valid on HRRR.

I don't think so. I am staying at RPR. I waited and waited for anything on the rumor of a discount for onsite guests and nothing.

I then purchased the FFP with Express Access for my DW and myself.

also, HRRR wasn't open last year during HHN ... not sure if that will change this year though

Well darn. Maybe after we do one night we'll decide to do another while we're there :)

From what I understand it wasn't opened due to not having a proper safety net under the ride. They were afraid of the lines and a mass of people gathering under the ride compared to a normal day at the park.

This is what our tour guide told us on the RIP tour last year.

The plan most certainly seems for it to be open. On the FFP with express access, it says "express not valid for Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit", so that indicates it will be open.

I too have a good, lucky feeling that HRRR is going to be open.

We got the FFP with the extra nights and Express. Only bad thing is that might cut down our Howl-O-Scream visits a bit because we used to go there on peak nights and now we can do HHN on Fridays.

So....
my shirt should be ready by Friday...... (hopefully) :woohoo:

will wear it for HHN and for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! :cool1:

I fly out this Sunday...:goodvibes

What do you all think.... :confused3

That is correct and if the safety nets are in place this year, it should be running. If not....
