Do you think there may be a flash sale soon?

I certainly hope so as I need to get my hotel booked for Feb and I held off on the last deal and decided to gamble on getting a better price :rolleyes1

How any nights are you going for Linda as it could be as cheap for you to book the hotel through Expedia for example and buy an AP. :goodvibes

I would definitely hold off and see what happens with a flash sale over the next week or so - because I've paid £267 for 4nights/5days for next Feb, one adult (and a free child) at the Santa Fe, and that was the equivalent of around 40% off. Thats cheaper than booking room only through Expedia and then buying an AP.

(I'm also hoping for a flash sale to see if I can upgrade possibly).

Same here! I can't even book through expedia as the rooms for most hotels that were available yesterday aren't showing up - only DLH and sequoia is showing up for two of my days! I am very worried now :/ There isn't any availability for most hotels via the disney site... I am afraid I have dropped the ball quite majorly as we have already booked flights!!

Can anyone tell me what happens if theres a flash sale and I have a previous booking? Can I amend for a lower price or add nights?

Only two nights in Feb, I am hoping to squeeze in another trip in 2013 but that would probably only be two nights as well - not sure an AP would be worth it :confused3

I booked my last trip with a flash sale (Jan 2012) and I got a great price, that's why I'm holding on but having seen the latest deal end and the prices shoot up, I must admit I feel nervous!

Eeek, I have my Eurostar booked as well but I am sure something will turn up - when are you going?

I'm sure one of the experts on here will be able to help you with this one :goodvibes

you can call Disney and ask - they may not allow you to change for a lower price, but if you end up paying more money by adding nights/meal plans etc, they will often allow this with no additional fees.

Would love to add an extra night, but having looked last night there was no availability for the dates we've booked.

Should I wait before adding the half board on then?

I called DLP few weeks ago as I wanted to add an extra night and there were no good offers and a price would have gone up for me a lot. And I was told to wait for a new better offer. Well, this means I can add extra night with new offer...

10-16th Feb - We've got cheyenne booked via expedia the Sunday and Friday night which we can cancel. There's literally nothing apart from DLH and HNY (at standard prices) showing up on the official disney site, the Monday and Tuesday have no availability on any other sites either. It's really worrying me!! I will have to talk to my OH tonight, We might booked HNY but it really annoys me to pay full price!!
Does anyone know if they will release more rooms? It seems silly that they are literally booked right up, 10 weeks or so before the date! There seemed to be loads of rooms available on expedia last night!!

I'm still convinced that a new deal will hit soon - let's both keep 'em peeled :thumbsup2

Definately. Maybe they'll do one at the start of December, That's only Saturday so who knows! They're bound to have something before Feb anyway - lets just hope they have space for us!!!

I rang up awhile back wanted to up grade to the dlh but was no standard rooms (girl on phone couldnt understand why they were sold out) anyway left it and rang back nxt day got a guy he told me there were no standard rooms on offer but there were family rooms if i wanted that, as there is only 3 of us i declined... He told me to ring again when there were new offers and they would realese more rooms then.

Few wks later they had this magical winter offer so i rang back and upgraded it was still €200 more than it had been during the 40% offer but i couldnt hold my nerve. If there is a new 40%/50% offer ill ring and hope they will let ne add a meal plan. Fingers crossed .

Anyway if your hotel is showing up with no rooms dont panic their prob holding for a new offer :goodvibes
