Hi all,

I'm hoping someone can give me a little guidance. My family took our first trip to Disney in September. :goodvibes We had a great time and took lots of pictures. Now, I want to do something with the pictures so that we have them to look at...and not just on the computer.

I used to scrapbook, but haven't really found the time to do it since my son was born. (He's five now....:lmao: ) As much as I would love to scrapbook my Disney photos, I'm jut not sure that is going to be practical for me. I have around 400 photos I would like to be able to do something with. That is a whole lot of scrapbooking....and I'm not sure I'm up to the challenge.

I thought what I would do is to buy a nice (or a few nice), simple albums and put our pictures in there. I'm having a really hard time finding regular photo albums. Am I just not looking in the right places? I've looked at Walmart, Target, and Hobby Lobby. None of them had anything that I really thought would work.

What do you guys do with your photos?

Thanks!

400 is alot?? you don't want to see mind then (over 5,000)
you may want to try a photo book - Disney has some but so does Wal-mart, Snapfish or other photo places but the Disney books lets you use Mickey & friends
several people do ditigal scrapping
I"m a paper girl & usually premake most of my pages before going (why I took so many, when you know you need 5 or 7 good shots for each country in WS you take more photos)

I scrapbook everything I have a book for each park and add new pictures each year to see the different changes at the parks. Resorts have there own book as do special events and the parades. It takes me awhile to get this done as I finish one year the next trip is about to happen and we start all over again.

I LOVE to scrapbook, but I have also found that old fashion photo books are a lot of fun too. There are some great photo books that hold three pictures a page, with writing available on the side. That would be a great place to write memories, put sticksers, and souvenirs!

You can make photobooks like Reddy suggested. I guess depending on how much money you want to spend, you could buy premade scrapbook pages for your disney photos. It can get a little pricey though. Ebay has a lot of good deals if you are interested in that?

We always use movie maker and make a DVD set to music of our trip with all the photos. My kids love this!!

I'm only 13 years old, but something I've started doing recently, is using Shutterfly and Snapfish and Sam's Online. Someone else had memtioned it earlier, but I really enjoy that. I had about 1,000 photos I wanted to use, but was able to weed it down to about 500 and it turned out great. Shutterfly is my rec. I love it because it is COMPLETELY persoanliz-able (is that even a word??:confused3). There are templates that you can drop in...OR you can make your own completely. That's what I do. It allows you to fit as many photos as you want wherever you want. You can put little "embellishments" throughout it, and type up captions, and everything. I ABSOLUTELY love it. Then, when you're done, you just click submit, and the book will be created and mailed to you! Easy peasy 1-2-3sy! :goodvibes Good luck!
