Now that GP codes are out, I have a question about my AAA resy?

I already have booked 11/28-12/5 with AAA discount. Today the GP codes were released and are only good 11/29-12/3 during my stay. I understand that I cannot have the GP code plus the AAA code so I'm assuming that I would be either going AAA the entire stay or go with the GP code and pay rack rate for the other dates. Question is can I book 11/28-11/29 under AAA reservation, 11/29-12/3 GP discount then 12/3-12/5 under AAA again??? What would the ramifications of this be? Would I have to check in on all of these dates again and possible move to another room even? Or, should I just go with the GP code if it's cheaper than my AAA rate and not deal with the hassle of changing things up???
