BORE YOU TO DEATH!
with my lovely review of my trip. btw, it won't be finished for a while because i have homework to do and there are nineteen days of pure florida sunshine to cover.
Day one was rather rough. We got up around four-ish and boarded our flight god only knows when. Like two hours later or something around that time. I entertained myself with the onboard television, a cd player, Lays stackers and a pen & paper. Then we got to Pearson Intl and ran through customs.. and sat around. By this time I had consumed a rather large amount of Tim Horton's Iced Cap & Lays Stackers and I found myself with a rather large stomach ache. It wore off by the time I got onboard, but that just switched to once more, another problem. I hadn't needed to use the washroom before we got onboard, but about the time we were about to take off (hence boarding was finished and we had pulled away from that weird bridge thing) I was about to burst. I figured I could last till we were just over Georgia, so I just sat through an episode of Maury. However, this was a stupid idea because the wind is almost always turbulent before we arrive in Florida... therefore making the seat belt sign turned on almost the whole time we were onflight and the bathrooms too busy afterwards, and by the time the people had gone through, the sign was turned back on. So then we landed and I waited for maybe 10-15 minutes for the plane to be hooked up to that weird bridge thing. We got off, and I ran for the bathroom, feeling very relieved xD. So then we switched terminals and got our luggage and went downstairs and waited to get our rental car. So my brother and I were sitting with the luggage, oh so bored. And a family of like 12 (excluding the mother, not sure where she was, she was busy) and they were all little kids. The dad tells them to sit down and behave (in a fierce voice) and the oldest pipes up that he lost his cell phone and the other kids were being a little whiney as well (what do you expect? travelling is no fun) and the dad starts swearing at them. I couldn't stand it, it went on for like 15 minutes. I wanted to yell at the guy because he was being so rude to his kids. You don't tell a three year old to shut the effing hll up. They expect their kid to have fun at Disney, but they just ruin it for the kid, and don't even realize it.
Finally we got the car and we dragged all of our suitcases (six plus carry-ons) across the street to the car park. We found our Trailblazer and hopped right it. From the moment we left the airport we were confused in what direction we were going so we basically drove around the whole city of Orlando. We drove through a cute neighborhood, with victorian styled houses and such. They had a mini downtown. There was even these little cars that looked like golf carts going around. I loved that place. We had a delicious meal of McDonalds that evening and then left to SERIOUSLY & ACTUALLY find the place we wanted to be at. So we got to the clubhouse of the Glenbrook Villas and everything was closed. There was a notice saying that the pool, the spa, the clubhouse, the tennis & volleyball courts were closed until further notice. All of the houses on that street seemed to be for sale, it gave us a big turn off. When we actually got to our house the door wouldn't open, we were scared to death that the deadbolt was being used and we would have no where to stay. But alas, my dad was using the wrong lock on the door. The place was beautiful, the furniture was beautiful. They had tables that looked like books, ...
