Welcome to my pre-trip report. I thought, "I have been to WDW 14 times and have never written a pre-trip or trip report." So why not start one now!! Here are the details:
Dates: Sunday, May 4 to Tuesday, May 13 2014.
Where: Disney's Polynesian Resort - Club Level (Garden View)
Who: Me (22), Mom & Dad
- About Me: I am 22 years old, turning 23 in May, love all things Disney and Disney World. I also love everything to do with the Toronto Blue Jays! I am currently in teacher's college finishing up my last placement. I love teaching, it is something I have dreamed about doing ever since I was 5 years old. Now my dream is coming true!
The Story Behind the Title
When I was younger I would love to watch, The Book of Pooh, and at the end of the show the characters would sing their goodbye song which started off..."Nows the time to close the book. Though we've just begun it's true." Well, I fell in love with this song and every time I have to say goodbye to something, I sing that song in my head. Of course it causes me to shed a few tears because who wants to say goodbye.
But what does this have to do with the title of this report? Well...we are saying goodbye for now to WDW after this trip. Truth is, we have gone so much that we need to take a break...try something new (and save some money). Our favourite resort is the Polynesian and it's changing now too. So we will take a break and come back in a few years.
Truth be told, I do not want to take a break. I love WDW and am sure that I will shed some tears as I sing the goodbye song when we are leaving. It's a place I have known since I was 8. Now I will turn 23 there. It's like my second home. But it's not going to be goodbye forever...just for now.
