DH would never consider Ramsey or any other thing remotely similar. Unfortunately.....

Never did Jillian yesterday, but did manage to get DD to walk with me (to DQ) last night.....4.21. She got a freeze, Sashi got her 'pup cup' & I got a fudge bar..... and a GIANT water. Was still 97 @ 8:20 when we left there. UGH!!!

Swamp cooler still having problems....still waiting for the guy to figure it out.

Never did make the CVS run. Ran to the grocery & by the time I got stuff home & taken care of it was time to start dinner.

DD & I ran to the mall & walked a bit...got our free Boba tea (free tea tuesdays!) She & the BF go to movies on Tuesdays & stop @ Boba - they both get the free 24oz green tea for him, then they get free popcorn @ theater, use the free tickets I keep collecting & she buys a slushie. Smart kids! I forgot & didn't ask for unsweetened, so didn't drink much of mine, but it was incredible. Will have to be a regular Tuesday stop for me. Tried to get the monthly free VS undies for DD, but they were out of her size. Couldn't find anything in JCP to use the $10 off $10 I got in the mail, but have until 6/20.

Latest DD development....her lower right arm is tingly & kind of numb. I think maybe all of this may be a pinched nerve? Time will tell. Hopefully won't need another ER run before Monday, but if it continues to worsen, I'll have to take her. I get the same type thing sometimes & there is actually a spot in my shoulder blades if you press my whole arm goes numb. I remember my dad had to have the nerves in his right arm 'stripped'...cut from the shoulder blade nearly to wrist.....nasty! don't think they do it anymore.

And then, the BF fell asleep while driving home...again! hit the median, but not hurt & car ok. DD & I read him the riot act. Really think he has narcolepsy as he seems to have the symptoms. I have seen him just literally fall asleep standing somewhere. SCARY!!

DH goes to cardiologist tomorrow. DS20 started his online summerschool class yesterday....easy, but lots of work. Had his all summer long class last night. Going to be a royal PITA & tons of work, & he's not too happy. Then has one more class just the month of July. Needs to do well in all these & all next yr in order to graduate on time (4 yrs)....avg time to graduate here if full time student....SIX YEARS!!!! Not happening.

Off to get something done & hopefully find time to meet Jillian today....if DS20 doesn't lose her again! He calls here the mean, psycho-midget!

Scary about DD's boyfriend! Has he ever been tested for narcolepsy? Is there a test for that? Thank God that he is okay!

BF has done this before & DD has finally convinced him to get to a Dr & not drive. She researched cataplexy and he seems to fit it exactly....scary! Unfortunately, it means the she or I or both will need to pick him up after work most days & take him home or to meet his grandpa somewhere in between as he isn't driving right now...a bit scared....wonder why??? But it is worth the effort on our part. I'd rather he be safe!

DS20 has convinced me to go out shooting with him for a bit, DD is at her BFFs' house, and I still need to go to CVS & clean my kitchen (not that the rest of the house isn't also a total disaster.

I'm kind of getting the hang of SR, Tracy, but I'm still wandering around it.

Did Jillian yesterday L2D3, probably will skip today & do tomorrow as my left knee is achy today from it. And, last year I went to Dr due to pain in rt side - it must have been Jillian as I can feel it coming back. Guess it's some muscle somewhere under all my flab that is rebelling! Walked 3.21 last night at 97degrees & drug myself out of bed for 4.76 this morning. Started out at 72 & when I finished it was only 80 @ 9a.m., but lemme tell ya, at 6000' with no air moving except cars going by & no shade I was melting!

WI today down 2 lbs. Still not where I should be for goal, but I have 9.8 lbs left to lose in 6 weeks. I'm hoping I can make it, but losing is better than gaining & my goal is 1.5/week, so even though I'm behind overall, I was ahead 1/2 lb this week. I'll take it!

CVS was ok yesterday for not taking manuf. coupons with me. 1 bag dove chocolate, 2L diet coke, wart remover(for DS20), 2 spray sunscreen, eyeliner for DD, 3 power bars( 99c w/ 99c back- L3), 1 frieda shampoo, 1 conditioner, - OOP was $17.92, got back $15.97 in extra bucks & a $5 off $15 coupon!

Today DD & I are likely going for a pedicure - I still have a GC I got for my Bday last year & it is enough for 2 pedi/2 mani & I will have to pay about $5 + tip. I will share! Then run to Ross & Marshalls. Have to pick the BF up at about 1:30 a.m. as he is not to drive until after his Dr. appt next Tues. It was going to be a 'sleepover' night anyway, & I will just get up & go when he calls. He works in the parking lot of the WM that DS23 works, but it's DS23 night off...go figure...or he could have ridden here w/ DS23.

Julie, so glad you and dd are getting pedicures. My inlaws treated me to one on Thursday and they are heavenly!

Very scary about dd's boyfriend. Keep us posted. I hope dd stays out of the ER!

Great job on losing two pounds, that is wonderful!

Did you get our cool and rainy weather? I hope so, 97 that late at night is unbearable and its too early for it to be that hot!

Pedicures didn't happen.....too much to do.

Have done nothing but EAT for 3 days. Today scale is UP almost 4 lbs. Mostly salty stuff. I have a suspicion that after 11 mo of TOM being absent, I may be attacked again. UGH!!!

Today is many errands and DD's neurology appt. Pray hard that he can 'fix' her!

Yesterday was a LONG day!

Left home at 8:40a, ran thru starbucks, went to do exchange @ thrift store, went to credit Union - hadn't been since late Jan, then to Ross, TJMaxx, Marshalls, picked up McD's @ 3:15 en route to Neuro.

He did an exam, ordered an MRI, but it's not scheduled yet. Gave us 3 days worth of Migranol(sp?) to try. A nasal spray - and also a nausea med. Says that this is the drug they used to hospitalize people for & give IVs every 8 hrs to kill headaches. Hope it works. She did the 1st dose @ 10p.m. felt like her sinuses were numb, got really dizzy & ache at back of head got worse....all supposedly normal for the drug.

After neuro ran home quickly, then took the BF to the bus stop so he could go to Karate, ran to Mall - bought DD jeans @ sears & got the rebate for $50 free gift card, got free undies for DD at VSecret, used 2 of the $10 OFF $10 @ penneys & got work pants for DS23 bday & a pair of shorts for me - total cost under $20. then turned in receipts for a $10 Johnny Rockets gift card, used Auntie Annes coupons for free pretzels(dinner) picked up RX at CVS & got a $25 gift card, ran to Kohl's & finally home.

Yes, I am exhausted!\

Swamp cooler still isn't working right & they replaced the motor...again yesterday.

Off to wake DD & run to the other Kohl's. Then 2p.m. meds & then pick up the BF & drop him at his Dr so they can check the narcolepsy theory.

WOW! Julie, I cannot believe all the running around you have to do. You must be constantly exhausted. I really hope the new meds are effective for DD. And I hope the DS can get a diagnosis and effective treatment. Thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers, my friend.

Can this week PLEASE just be over?????

DD has 1 more dose of meds, no change at all. Talked to a niece who had a headache for almost TEN YEARS!!!! had TMJ they didn't know and had fractured her jaw. No one knew until they finally did an MRI. SCARY!!!

So I've been trying to keep DD busy and her mind off her head. Yesterday she had a meeting at 8:30, then we left home....again. So my day was 5.02 miles before 8 a.m., took her to work, ran to 2 different Albertson's to pick up sodas on sale, back to pick her up. Home to unload, then left for far side of town Kohl's to look for her pants (this side didn't have her size) ended up buying me 2 sundresses & her a wallet. Then to the far mall to get DH pants (no size for him on this side of town...of course). Got his pants, DD bought the BF a pair of pants, then hit the Victoria's Secret sale (about the only place DD can find fully adjustable 32C bras_--I'd be glad to be a donor!) Spent way too much. Then went to JCP to exchange my size 11 shorts for 13s. I can wear them now comfortably, rather than hoping they fit in time for the trip. (and at this rate, the 13s won't!) Left to pick the BF up at work - only 1.5 hrs late, & he had gotten a ride moments before we arrived. Realized VS had overcharged us on 1 bra by almost double and that we wanted to return a couple of things, so dropped the BF at the bus, went to the close VS, returned stuff, got price adjustment, bought a few thongs for DD. And they also overcharged & we had to go back in, stand in line , etc.

While doing that DH called & asked if I had bought anything on our discover card at hobby lobby in Texas....today.....?????? WTH????? Apparently someone had 'cloned' his card & tried to use it 3x in Texas, only 1 successfully - almost $300 at Hobby Lobby and they didn't check ID....really? Fortunately fraud dept at Discover caught it. But now I'm w/o discover which I use for everything...and have to redo all my direct bill stuff that goes to it. UGH!

After VS, back to Kohls as one of the sundresses I bought was not on sale for 21.99 but 12.99 and DD wanted to get one. Of course, the near kohls overcharged us for the boy shorts she got, so we got to do it all again. Not my day!

And in the midst of this, we were late getting her 2pm. meds, so had to stay up to get them at 11pm. Under 6 hrs sleep again. Didn't get out to walk until 7:30, so only got in 3.2 miles today.

Swamp cooler still not right & they haven't been returning my calls. Still no word on DD's MRI. Yesterday the vein Dr. office called to tell me the Dr is going to be in Australia diving so have to reschedule my appt....next available 12/27. This guy is 76 and looks about 50.

This past week I burned 20,804 calories, had a deficit of 11,037. walked 103,132 steps.....21.73 miles....and GAINED 2.2 lbs!!! I am so frustrated & mad!!! Yes, I could be off a little on my deficit, but not from a deficit of 11, 037 to a surplus of almost 9,000!!! I can't be off 20,000 calories!!! Just not possible!!! And I still am thinking that TOM is going to appear after

So, this morning I've eaten maui sweet onion chips, a luna bar & reese's pieces.....out of frustration. Yes, I counted the calories, but still......... Makes me just wanna throw in the towel & give up....but I won't.

It's nearly 3p.m. & DD is still sleeping. This med knocks her out big time unless I keep her up & moving. Wish I could sleep.

The BF got a referral to a sleep specialist, but no clue when they will get him in, so he still can't drive. UGH!!! Good kid, & I don't mind helping him out, but not good timing.

Off to wake sleeping beauty for the last dose & then run to the store. Hope all is well with everyone!

Update: MRI is at 9 tomorrow morning. And, After talking to niece w/ the TMJ started looking it up & talking to DD. TMJ headaches are in exactly the same place DDs are and her jaw "always clicks & pops & sometimes locks" when she takes a large bite. Then we tried a test for it & she felt pain in her right tmjoint. Hmmmmmm.........

I am so glad dd has an MRI scheduled. That should hopefully give you some answers although it really sounds like its the TMJ thing.

I hope you get that swam cooler fixed, that has got to be miserable.

Hang in there and do not throw in the towel (know you won't). I am betting you'll have a big loss soon.

I am at 11 months and counting with no TOM and have also been feeling a bit lately like I might have it come back. Here's hoping we both are DONE once and for all!!

I sure hope we get answers soon! Neuro called me again tonight & is calling in a daily med...just a mild BP med they use in hopes that it will work some. He says the TMJ thing he doesn't think too likely, but definitely should have it checked. But, he also thinks the MRI will show nothing.

Ordered 2 24" pizzas tonight. I got the worst chicken caesar salad ever. romaine with a packet of sprinkle cheese and 6 frozen slices of grilled chicken and RANCH dressing. So, ate the chicken, 1/2 the romaine & dunked my fork. then I had about a 1/4 slice of pizza. Not too bad, but I wanted to eat about 3 pieces of pizza. Oh well.....

DD really doesn't want the early morning MRI, so I am trying to bribe her as it's next door to her fav breakfast place.......

No news yet on the MRI. They said should hear from Dr. today. I am waiting. Meantime I'm calling a local craniofacial (TMJ) clinic. Just called them....they are working her in at 9 a.m. tomorrow!

Good news is that barring anything bad, I leave for FL in 30 days.

This Sat is neighborhood garage sales so I am having sale Fri & Sat. I"d rather not, but need to keep cleaning out & the cash is always nice.

My 'to do' list is 10 miles long so must get started. Will be visiting journals off & on today. Hope everyone is doing well.....more later.....
