After asking many questions on here regarding meals I started looking at the menu's more. My DH is picky, no vegies, especially onions and peppers in food. My 2 DS's are the same way at age 6 & 7. I am the adventurous, love to try new things person. I am afraid that a lot of the sit down meals will not be enjoyed by my DH. :confused3 My sons can get pretty much the same food at all places.
Has anyone else ran in to this and feel that not having the DP was better. I mean there are some places we will still eat like, WCC, CM, and I am not sure after that. I THOUGHT THAT I HAD EVERYTHING FIGURED OUT!!!!! I hate to dish out money for DP and my family not like the food at a lot of TS.

Or are there a lot of table services meals that are more plain jane american food. HOW DEPRESSING!!!!!

Thanks I appreciate any help anyone has

I am like your husband..NO ONIONS ON ANYTHING!!!

But I loved the DP!!

My wife and DS are picky about trying new things, but I am adventurous (minus the onions..lol). And we all LOVED the DP.

I would not let that stop you from doing it. Most restuarants are good about no onions and such if you ask when ordering.

mseg16222,

Have you perused the menus at http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm?

These menus, while not set in stone, will help you decide if there are menu items that work for your family!

It sounds as if you are doing just that but wasn't sure where you have been reviewing menus.

How about posting a question that asks for simple menu favorites from all those helpful DISers out there!

Yes, these are the menus I am looking at. I was excited about Ohana's but now not sure if the family will like it. And LTT I mentioned to DH and he is like, it is going to be how hot and you want to eat a "thanksgiving type" meal. And CR I really wanted to try but I have heard they have taken off the Lobster Tail. I think my kids would just enjoy being there. BOMA sounds good but maybe to different of food.......oh the headache still continues

Well, instead of purchasing based on menus why don't you make a spreadsheet? Do one on what you would eat without the DP including prices. They do one of what you would eat with the DP. Look at the savings part as part of the overall picture. Thats what my husband and I did and we realized that even if we just get salads or soup at TS restaurants it is cheaper for us to be on the DP.

Good luck!

DP was way cheaper for us as well!

If you have family members with a discerning palate ;) I'd go with H & V! We went with low expectations and thoroughly enjoyed it. A buffet offers the diner to pick and choose where as at MM, you are limited to a couple of choices.

We are super spoiled with excellent Italian restaurants so MM would not be for us. Okay, maybe for dessert! :goodvibes
