I am pretty new, okay really new to this whole DIS thing. I am however totally hooked. In all our years of Disney vacationing I have been perfectly content to let my DH plan everything. I never understood his strange compulsions & endless hours on the computer. Truth be told his desire to try and talk to me about his plans & debate the pros & cons of every decision was pretty irritating.

Don’t get me wrong I LOVE, really LOVE Disney & everything about it, but until now I just thought I packed my bags & the magic happened. :rotfl: I now regret all the years my husband went misunderstood & unappreciated. He loves doing it though & I was glad to let someone else plan and execute our family schedule for once! We always had a wonderful time. You see how this could have happened right?

I’m not quite sure how I got sucked in this year. I think it was when he asked me to make him a calendar/chart for the week & I offered to type in the plans he had already made. Next thing I knew I was checking the boards for dining reviews to help decide where to eat. Then he showed me the food porn! For weeks we poured over menus, pictures & reviews. I was beginning to think we were going on vacation just to eat. Yeah Free Dining!:dance3:

Now I am making packing lists, I keep a file open on the computer at all times for tips I find, have purchased a mini-notebook to transform into a Disney Bible, & now I’m the one driving everyone crazy. :cloud9: I now feel guilty that I have begun to encroach on my DH job as vacation planner extraordinaire & wonder if he’s the one who is avoiding Disney discussions now. Who am I kidding he loves it!

Coming up … 13 days & counting - the basic plan is settled - kinda maybe? (Pics in next post… if I can figure it out!)
