As a lot of you are aware, it is now Officially Hot & Humid in the south.
As a result I always carry some fluids with me (although probably not enough) when I run.
Today I got the bright idea "Hey! Instead of wearing a pack to day when I run, I'll just drop a few "Endurolyte" tablets in my water instead. That way I won't have to dig them out when I think I need them & can travel "Lighter"".
"Aren't I Smart!!!"
Well.
Today I found out why they are TABLETS, designed to be SWALLOWED, not DISSOLVED in water, chewed, sucked, etc., etc., or any other thing that will alter their form prior to reaching one's GI Tract.
Lets just say............
I would rather die from dehydration than to have that GodAWFUL taste in my mouth again.
If you have ever tried to drink a rusty car with salt sprinkled on it you will know what I mean.
Ugh. Remember. You heard it here first.
