NOW -- 1 resort, 1 ride, 1 restaurant, 1 person to experience it with

Don't think, just write. If you could be instantly transported to the World for ONE 24 hour period, name the following....

1) one resort (where you'd stay)

2) one ride (can only ride ONE)

3) one restaurant (better be hungry!)

4) one person to spend the day with --- alive or not, friend or just a dream hangout (ex. with Walt himself!)

1. Grand Floridian
2. Dumbo
3. Cinderella's Royal Table
4. My niece, who has never been to Disney World!

1. BLT 1 bedroom magic kingdom view
2. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
3. Victoria and Alberts
4. My grandfather who first took me to WDW and who loved BTMR

1) one resort (where you'd stay)
The Ahwanee Hotel, Yosemite National Park

2) one ride (can only ride ONE)
Afternoon airboat trip from Frog City to the Shark Valley tower, then Rookery Branch (in Everglades National Park) with sunset on the return and driving back at night (+/- 6 hours).

3) one restaurant (better be hungry!)
Scoma's, San Francisco

4) one person to spend the day with --- alive or not, friend or just a dream hangout (ex. with Walt himself!)
That would have to be two -- DW and DD8. Or, as an alternative on the airboat trip, whole family -- all DD's, SIL's and grandkids.

1) Beach Club
2) Tower of Terror
3) Ohana
4) My hubby!

I think my husband would answer all the same except resort.

Tough One. Right away I thought of DH. He is my best friend and I love being with him at WDW. But I agree with the person that said their mother that passed away. I would have to choose my Dad who died over 15 years ago. He took me to WDW for my first trip when I was a kid. And we never were able to return. I know that he would be amazed at how the World has changed from one park with 3 resorts to what it is today. So here is what I would choose:

1. WLV - My Dad loved the outdoors and anything that is rustic and woodsy.

2. Mount Everest. He loved rollercoasters.

3. Victoria and Albert's. Dad loved to go out nice.

4. My Dad of course! :thumbsup2

What a perfect day! Some day Daddy!

Resort: Port Orleans Riverside, Parterre Place
Restaurant: Rose and Crown
Ride: Pirates of the Caribbean
Person: My wife

Takes me back to our honeymoon at WDW 6 1/2 years ago!

I am going to take this one step further and answer the questions four times with a different person for each of the four parks. here goes;

Animal Kingdom,

Jambo House Concierge
Safari Ride
Jiko
Jack Hannah, the animal expert

Epcot,

BoardWalk Villas
Mission Space
Le Cellier
Neil Armstrong, first man on the moon

Hollywood Studios,

Yacht and Beach Club
Star Tours
Hollywood Brown Derby
Harrison Ford since he has been in so many movies featured there

Magic Kingdom,

Bay Lake Tower
Space Mountain
California Grill
Joe Rhoddie, imagineer responsible for alot of what we all enjoy at WDW

Now that would be a fun four days at Disney. Until that happens I will happily continue to go with my wife and kids.:thumbsup2

1. BLT two-bedroom, MK view

2. Rock n'Roller Coaster

3. 50's Prime Time - for the laughs

4. My younger brother......he passed away when I was 19 and I would love to be able to spend one day with him laughing like we did when we were little kids. I love my hubby & my daughters, but I can go with them most anytime. Spending a day with my little brother would be my dream.

Don't think, just write. If you could be instantly transported to the World for ONE 24 hour period, name the following....

1) one resort (where you'd stay) SSR

2) one ride (can only ride ONE) IASW

3) one restaurant (better be hungry!) Crystal Palace

4) one person to spend the day with --- alive or not, friend or just a dream hangout (ex. with Walt himself!) My mom, who passed away in 2006. She didn't love Disney, but she loved to shop. So, we'd stay at SSR, take the boat to DTD, and shop. We'd probably hit the outlet malls too. IASW and Crystal Palace are favorite memories from childhood. Since my mom was on those trips with me, she'd appreciate them.

Thanks for doing this! It was fun to play.

Fun to think about and pretty easy to come up with:

4. DH - always!

Terri

Don't think, just write. If you could be instantly transported to the World for ONE 24 hour period, name the following....

1) one resort (where you'd stay) SSR - holds a lot of very special memories for us. :cloud9:

2) one ride (can only ride ONE) - We love Soarin, but I'd have to go for Toy Story Mania. My DW and I have had so many laughs, despite her beating my score every time (my gun never seems to work properly :rotfl2:)

3) one restaurant (better be hungry!) Tough call. We have 3 faves (Le Cellier, Chefs de France, Coral Reef). If pushed I'd go for Chefs de France. :thumbsup2

4) one person to spend the day with --- alive or not, friend or just a dream hangout (ex. with Walt himself!)
Easy peasy my DW

Thanks for the thread

1. AKL VILLAS

2. TEST TRACK

3. CASEY'S FOR A HOT DOG

4. MY DAD(he passed away in 1999 and WOW would he love to see the place now, last trip with him was in 1989 for a family trip with his grandchildren.

What a great question. It renforces why I love Disney, all the great memories.

Argh....this is too difficult for me.
As much as I want to participate, I just can't narrow it down to one.
I decided THAT is why I bought DVC!:)
One resort is not enough.
One ride is not enough.
One restaurant is not enough.
One person IS enough - my DH, but it is fun to bring the kids, friends, and other family too!
