November vs. March

So with the new FD promotion, I'm starting to seriously think about another Disney trip...just don't know if we should do October/November like usual or wait until the beginning of March. I'm not sure what to expect if we go in March as far as crowds, weather, etc. Feel a lot more comfortable with November since that's when we've always gone and we can catch the Christmas lights and the Food and Wine festival. From what I've also seen, March is a little pricier than the fall, but we'd have more time to pay for it and would have a better choice of ADR's. Someone please help convince me one way or another! :)

IMHO, November is your best best for smaller crowds. We have visited WDW once in March and while we had a great time, we had LOTS of company!

We especially enjoy mid-November, but we don't typically visit during the F & W Festival. We do love the holiday decorations and we've been really lucky with the weather as well. While MVMCP is scheduled for several nights beginning in November and is quite popular, the crowds are otherwise very manageable. I'm sure the F & W Festival makes Epcot pretty busy, especially with locals on the weekends, but we usually miss it due to our schedules.

Only been once in Oct and that was years ago. We go on Nov and March and March is definately busier and like you said more $$. BUT the park hours are better. That said if we only went once a year I would pick Nov.

I would take a November trip over March. The weather is great and you can take advantage of all the holiday decoratons, Candlelight Procession and MVMCP. You can see WDW in a way that you can't see throughout the year (and get holiday decorating ideas!!!) Although Fla. weather is unpredictable, the November weather was better than in March. Crowds are not bad unless you are thinking of going Thanksgiving week.

As far as ADRs, this may be an opportunity to try out new restaurants that you can get ressies for or wait list for the ones that you want to go to.

We go every year from around the 28th or 29th of October and staying for 10 days. Love the F&W, the MNSSHP, weather is great, crowds are not bad at all. No humidity. Mid to low 80s in daytime, 70s at night, you might need a sweatshirt. It was cold when we went in March. No matter what you choose though, it will be fantastic.
