Okay. Our trip is booked. We are going in November and I just realized that we will be there , (for the first time), during the Christmas season and will have the chance to attend the MVMCP. So we have our 7 day park hoppers all set, but apparently I will need to revisit our package and change it to 6 days of park hopper tickets and then purchase one ticket for the MVMCP on the day we want to attend. Is this correct?? Will the ticket I purchase for the MVMCP include all day park attendance? (I know it will not be a park hopper and we will be bound to MK that day but we don't mind that). It also says we can enjoy 'select' rides and attractions that day, does that mean all day the rides and attractions are limited?? And if so how do I find out which ones? I am a bit flustered :confused3 . Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

Short answer. With Your party ticket you "should" be able to enter the park starting at 4:00. The party does not start until 7 do they usually allow entry early (at 4:00). As far as "select" attractions, pretty much all if the big rides will be up. (Jungle cruise is not I believe) but the food locations will be limited. There is a great thread for all the mvmcp info in the theme park board.

Looked for the MVMCP thread and found a couple of older ones. Is there an official one for 2013 yet? And could someone post a link if there is? Also, should I keep our park hoppers and buy the MVMCP tickets in addition to our park hopper tickets? How does the whole thing work? Does MK close to the public before the party begins and only those with tickets are allowed to stay? As I said...this is totally new to me as we usually always go in March or April and this is our first November time trip. The WDW site has very limited info so I knew I had to come here to get some answers. :confused3

Traditionally people with MVMCP tickets for that evening are allowed to enter the Magic Kingdom around 4 pm. If you are entering the park then, using the ticket, they will give you a wristband. CMs look for that wristband beginning at the official party time of 7pm. people without a wristband are politely but very firmly pointed to the exits. CMs check for the wristband at every ride, character meet and greet lines, and just walking around.

If you are already in the park that day, sometime before 7 pm, exchange your tickets for the wristband. Last time we were there, there were several kiosks? inside the MK during the day that could do so. Then you are ready to go.

I couldn't find a current MVMCP thread either, but there will be one. Always. After the first party, we will have a map and schedule. Disney doesn't change much between the first and last party. A lot of the general info in the old threads is helpful because it shows what to expect .

As for park hoppers, there are about a thousand threads about whether they are helpful or not. Ultimately it depends on how you personally want to spend your trip. HTH!
