November special rates, historically and when to look out for them?

Considering post Thanksgiving trip to one of the Deluxe resorts, ie Contemporary or WL. What kinds of rate specials may be available? and when will they come out?

Re Disney reservations, if I Book now with just a AAA room discount, can I change my reservation and take advantage of a special if it does become available without any kind of penalty?

Do you recommend booking just the room only reservation or the package through either Disney or AAA or another travel agency?

Please any help would be so much appreciated.
