What is everyone doing on St Thomas?

We don't have anything planned and are wondering if we should go to St. John....sitesee on St Thomas.... shopping is a must (because of St Maartens Day).

Beach am...Shopping Pm or
Shopping am...than beach or touring the island?

Hey all... trying to get pre-organized before the big packing day. Would you recommend packing toys for my 2.5 year old or do you think she'll be to busy on the ship? I've never been but since the rooms aren't the biggest... what do you think? Maybe just her leapfrog or dvd player??

We are planning on bringing water toys for the pool including a floatie tube and sand toys and some other dolls, coloring books, books, dvds and player, etc. for our 4 year old dd. We took her on a cruise when she was 2 1/2 years and found that we did need activities for her in the room for example when we were getting dressed etc. Since the kids club is supposed to be so wonderful on Disney - we are hoping that will be enough. Hey....playdates for toy sharing sounds like a plan too!

Oh and I'm also bringing snacks and drinks for her but that's partially because of her food allergies.

TA called today and my doc's are in. Three weeks from today I will be in Orlando!!!! Having the docs adds another level of excitement to the wait. It will be so much fun to meet all of you!!!

Hi everyone, I've been catching up on all the posts and want to say welcome to all our new friends! I've updated the first post -- if I missed anyone please let me know.

Things here have been super hectic and I can't believe only 20 days until we leave. I have one bag packed already and have bought/ordered just about everything. I'm still working on the gift exchange bags (dds are extremely excited about the exchange -- they really, really enjoyed delivering and receiving goodies last cruise). I bought the materials needed for the fish extender but haven't started making it yet -- please wish me LOTS of luck because I'm REALLY going to need it.

Morgan: I don't have the Dicapac camera bag but I do have a generic one I picked up off of ebay a few months ago. Seems to work very well so far and was cheaper than the disposable waterproof cameras we used last time.

Haven't decided what we will do on St. Maarten's but we are renting a car on St. Thomas and are planning to do Coral World and the Sea Lion Splash.

Look forward to meeting everyone!!

My girls had off of school today so we went to Downtown Disney and tried out the new TRex Cafe. It's just like Rainforest Cafe, only prehistoric. and the wait is crazy. I had to wait on line for 20 minutes just to give my name!

3 weeks from today and we leave for Cocoa Beach!!! Haven't shopped, packed, or gotten FE stuff. I'm so far behind I feel like we will NEVER be ready!
Do the little girls dress up like Princesses? I was thinking about throwing the dresses in but it's just one more thing to pack. I was wondering if they would even use them.

Sorry everyone that you had to read so many of my posts but as I read them I added my two cents to them. Well it pushes the post count up also. I just wasn't able to get on here the last couple of days. See everyone soon it is getting closer. Don't have mine yet I hope I get my docs soon!!!!!

Yes it is official. Thank goodness my DH was nice enough to let me open them. Now I'm more excited than every. This is going to be a busy weekend as I try to start organizing things to pack.

That sounds like fun. St Martin we are doing the zip-line. But on St. Thomas we just don't know yet. Whatever we do, we will do on our own.

I definitely recommend bringing some favorite toys for the little ones. I'm bringing some for my 5 yr. old too. He tends to need some down time before dinner or while we are getting ready.

A little more packing today. Ahhh! Feeling relief and getting too excited.

I am handing out finger paints for my FE gify so the kist will have something to do.

Seriously, I am kidding. I did not have a joke so I had to come up with something. I have spent my whole evening in the emergency room with my MIL who looks like she went a couple rounds with Joe the plummer (okay I could not resist). So needeless to say I am tired and punchy.

I did not get to finish the FE's as planned. Regretfully itis raining here so our annual family pumpkin patch outing will no doubt be cancelled. I guess I can use that time to get some stuff done.
