We are traveling with the Morgan4 on this cruise. We are all excited!
DH is counting down the days with DD(11) and they keep me(DW) and DS(13) posted on how many days until we leave.

DS and DD are excited to be missing school for this trip!

We are looking forward to meeting everyone!

So glad you are joining us. You are in for a real treat. We don't think there is anything better than a Disney Cruise! Right now I am doing the final and sorting out the clothes to pack. I always over pack. If you forget anything, chances are, I packed it! We leave on Tuesday. See you soon!

to all the newbies. I have been away for a few day dealing with DHL as of 2 days ago I still had not gotten our travel docs. Called our travel agent and she said they were sent out on the 17th. I have been on the phone for 2 FULL days and finally I got them today. YEAH. Now I'm doing last minute stuff. Still don't have any door signs, but I'm not worried. I can't wait to leave. This cruise we are just going to enjoy everything the ship has to offer. On our last cruise we did so much off the boat and really only played bingo and went to shows. I feel that in a week I didn't see much of the beautiful ship. I hope this time is different. Can't wait to meet all of you and party.

On another note I have finished the darn fish extender and as soon as I finish the fight with the camera and downloading I will show it off here. Can't believe I actually did it without sewing a single stick. Got to love sticky hem stuff and self stick felt.

Well, we finally started to put some of the clutter that I accumulated into suitcases last night.

My DH is like, "can't we leave on Friday?!?" (whine, pouty face, big brown puppy dog eyes) Can't WE?? (He is worse than the kids)
Oh how I wish that we could, but NO, we need to wait until next Thursday.
Wait, that is only 7 days away!!!!

only 7 days until we leave. But we ahve several parties to go to this weeksend and then my son is having his b-day party at school on Tue. so I have to prepare for that. So I'm doing my final today and hopefully get everything packed. I'm almost done just have to put in a few more things and pick up a few more things from the store. Trying to figure out what to get DH for his birthday since we will be celebrating on the boat. His b-day is on the 16th which we are going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party that night so really that could be his gift, but thats kinda cheap since I'm the one who really wanted to go..

Welcome!!!!! to all the new people who have joined the thread lately!!!!!

Well, I'm getting SOOOOO excited. Only about a week to go. I've started my packing but right now it is just in piles in the guest bedroom. I need to get moving or I'll be packing last minute which I always seem to do and I promised myself this time it would be different .

I wish we could get in earlier on Friday because it looks like alot of people are staying at the Radisson the night before. I could definitely get the party started a day early but we won't be getting to the Radisson until around 11pm or so. I'm assuming everyone will be in for the night by then but if not . I don't remember if they have a bar at the hotel or not. Does anyone know? Will anyone be out that late?

So has anyone heard what is happening in St Marteen? Will anything be open? I have been searching but I have not been able to find much.

I hope everyone has a great week packing and I can't wait to meet everyone at the DIS meet on Saturday.

Argh...we were planning on spending most of St. Maarten day at the Sunset Beach Bar on Maho Bay watching the planes come in while drinking Coronas. Just went to their website to check their hours on that holiday again (we checked months ago and they said they would be open despite the holiday) and it now says they are closed due to transfer of ownership and won't reopen until May of 09. I guess we can go anyway and watch the planes, but it won't be the same without the cool bar and music. Drat.

Is anyone else getting so excited about leaving that they can't sleep? I am having trouble sleepng, I think it is because I am thinking about all the things I want and need to do before we leave.

I know that I will end up packing way too much stuff!!! I do that on every vacation we go on.

I can't wait to meet everyone at the Meet-n-Greet.

From what I have read about St. Maarten Day, businesses near the ports are exempt should they choose to stay open. I booked horse back riding and Rhino Rider tours for our family that day and both of those places will be open. They both have revised schedules though.

I certainly hope that something is open that day or I may just stay on the ship!!! I have heard they have casinos there . . . I can't imagine any casino closing when there are people there wanting to play . . . that would be just crazy. If the casinos are open I will happily have some drinks and drop a few bucks there.

Ok, so I thought I'd throw this out there...we're doing the meet/greet at the Promenade on 11/8, but is there anyone out there up for having a secondary meet/greet during karaoke night at Rockin' Bar D?

I went on a cruise a while back, and a group from ABC (the network) was there, and karaoke night was a blast because there was such a big group willing to get up and have a good time!

Any appetite out there for getting together for a night of ruining perfectly good songs?

Yes!!! And my friend traveling with me is a Karaoke junkie too. It is one of her favorite things to do!!! Count us in. Not sure what night it is but I am so excited to meet all of you. I feel like after months of chatting with you all I have a huge group of friends waiting on the boat for me. And big groups of friends make everything more fun!!!
