It is soooooooo close now, I can just see the "Magic" ship!!!!

Progress has been made. All four of my rooms have their FE gifts done and ready to ship today. I struggle sometimes to come up with an idea, but I am impressed that all four are different. I had no idea the creativity that exists in my family. I was excited that my sister and I were up till 5am this morning putting labels on and packaging some of them. That is probably becasue we had been to three walmarts till 2am

We were supposed to go to the pumpkin patch, but it has rained here again. I am not planning another trip there. We are just going to go buy a pumpkin and forgo the bails of hay. Anyone else having lousy weather? I figure this is mother natures way of getting me ramped up for this cruse (as if I needed any assistance).

Well, I am off to shower and I think today may be a Satbucks day. I do not drink coffee, but when you have to function on 4 hours of sleep you take all the assistance you can get. I see a carmel frapp in my near future

I will check back later to check and see if the FE list has arrived.

We are having a very ugly rainy day as well, but the worst of that is they are calling for snow flakes on Monday and Tuesday! . I am not ready for that! I just can't stand putting a pair of socks on with shoes yet, but I have to or freeze my toes! It always seems like the weather changes too quickly. I like to enjoy the seasons.

Hopefully we can all prolong the summer season when we get to Florida and especially when we are cruising. . I am so ready to enjoy this vacation. Ready except for packing! That is the hard part. At least the suitcases are out and clothes are appearing. Now to begin the last minute and pack for Princess Jasmine, who may or maynot be staying at home!

Hi All- Just getting over an upper respiratory infection. Rest of family is fine. Probably all the running around and stressing about everyday things. We leave in 6 days to drive to Disney. Yes it has been a rainy day here in NJ. Hope some of that rain will stop the fires we have had all week towards the east. I could smell the smoke on Thursday and I'm about 30 miles from it. The TV news said they could smell the smoke in Philadelphia which is about 20 miles west from me. It wasn't as bad as the smell of smoke I experienced in June when I visited 1DisneyQueen and family in VA. It was so bad there that at times it actually blocked out the moon while we were sitting on the porch. These fires were in NC.
I awoke this morning with a sore throat which is not a good thing so I have to get better soon. Hopefully it will clear up soon, I actually have felt feverish during the afternoon. I thought I didn't feel right last night so I didn't go to the second job. Figured I go this morning, but I felt worse. So now no matter what I have to go there in the morning.
Well I'm off to finish the can never be to sick for that. Who would do it. Take care all. My countdown disney clock says 12 days and 5 hours til we leave on the 7th to head down to FL. Have a great weekend!

Everybody get well quick...one of the questions they ask you when you get on the boat is if you have had any respiratorary infections or been in contact with anyone who has had one? I know if I start with a sore throat it always develpes into bigger and better things, not the kind of things you want! .

I think the change of seasons is hard on your body. If you have any kind of weakness for sinus infection you really can get hit in the spring and fall. I have tried to stay away from the leave mulching as much as possible and think the remainder of the leaves can just wait until after vacation. It is for sure they won't go any where! They never do!

Just think in two weeks we will all be together and having fun. Maybe some of us will see each other in the park. That would be neat!

Just packed up my box full of fish extender gifts to send to the ship? Anyone else doing this? I was wondering how soon I should ship it to make sure it gets there. Anyone not have their box show up? I just figure if I can mail them it saves space in the suitcase.

just stoped in while I'm taking a break from packing and making our fish extender. I'm trying to make it where we are only taking one big suit case one small and one hanging for 2 adults and 2 kiddos one of which is in diapers. Wish me luck on this. I am for some reason having problems making our fish extender, I think I'm over thinking it. I am just ready to be on the ship. DH has been working ALOT of overtime so the kids and I haven't seen him much. So were all looking forward to spending time on the cruise and then at WDW after.

Today I awoke feeling fine. No sore throat just a little headache. I think it is just some sinus pressure. No cold or anything. I just can't believe how much better I felt though.
Woke up early got the second job done and then came home. My son was going to do some laps around the track so I went with him. Took 3 fast walks around the track and then needed oxygen when I was done, but at least I made it. Maybe I can loose a few ounces before the trip. Then came in and finished up the laundry before taking a shower. Guess I'm pretty much back to normal. Glad everyone else is on the mend. Stay well everyone. This is the time for it all to start off. I have some people coughing at work, but I guess my body fought it off via my throat and the good germs won!!!
We have had a few cold nights at the 32 degree mark, but we have yet to turn on the heat. This old house is holding onto the day heat thank goodness. We will be soon turning the heat on though as we want it running smoothly before we leave. Got to run. Have to do bills, ugh, and then have some things to do for work. Eleven days and I'll be in FL

I have a question. I think we might have overbooked St. Thomas. I got a suggestion from my uncle and cousins that have sailed the Eastern cruise several times, and booked the Doubloon Sail and Snorkel Tour. My mom really wanted to take a tour of the island, so we also booked the St Thomas Island Tour. We get back to the ship 45 minutes before the next tour. Is the realistic? I'm thinking it probably isn't and we should cancel one, but she thinks we can do it. I don't want to be stuck paying for an excursion we don't get to enjoy. Any advice will be much appreciated!

I remember customs paperwork from Nassau on our last cruise but I did not receive any Customs paperwork with my packet. Am I missing something? I checked the DCL web site and they don't mention customs paperwork?

That's no fun to be sick, I am glad you are starting to feel better. Have a safe drive down to Disney! We are going to be right behind you, but we are flying. We check into Pop Century on Nov.5 But won't get in until 11:30p.m., so by the time we get to our room we will be more then ready for bed! The best part though is we will wake up at Disney!!!!! We are going to spend the first full day at Downtown Disney and go shopping, then head back to Pop Century and hang out there! Then the 2nd full day we are going to the Magic Kingdom Park! After that it will be time to head over to the Swan Resort to get on the DCL Bus!!!!! I will be sure to you look for you too at Pop Century, but if I don't see you there will see each other on the ship!

It is sooooooo cold and windy here today! I was suppose to get my hair cut today, but changed it for next sat. As the weather is to bad to go out in, I might just blow away! LOL
