Maddie's Nana- What do you think of the Passporter? I bought the one for Disney World but really liked the detail of another guide instead so I didn't get the one for DCL. Was wondering if it gives more info than what we get on the disboards.

I can't remember if there are tables for larger groups at Palo and I'm not sure how we would have a bunch of different reservations and ask to be seated together. Anyone else know? Anyone else going on those days?

If you're only talking about 4 or 6 people then you would probably have to link your reservations together and make them through the online system. Since all high tea reservations have been taken, I'd assume that is no longer an option for our cruise.

Call DCL and ask about the possibility of getting the private room in Palo's for this. I'm not sure what their minimum number of people would be, but I'm going to guess that it's either 6 or 8.

I bought it for our cruise last Oct. & really liked it - as I'm reading it over this year I already know most of the hints but its a good refresher course.
I do think you can get all if the info from the disboards but with the Passporter it is all in one place.

Well I had time on my hands this week as I was home recovering from a minor surgery - sooooo - since I can't book our Onboard activities yet, I booked our excursions for both St. Maarten and St. Thomas. The Dis boards had alot of good advice and we booked both excursions not from the DCL choices. If you're interested, we booked a trip on The Lord Sheffield pirate ship (http://www.stmaarten-shoretrips.com/lordsheffield/piratecruise.html) for St. Maarten and we booked a trip with Godfrey Tours including shopping, Coki Beach, and Coral World (http://godfreytoursvi.com) for St. Thomas. I also received my passporter this week and have been reading through it. It's good for reminders and some hints but not as much as I expected. I think I'm learning more from the disboards. It's a Fish Extender, that people put goodies in thru out their Disney Cruise.

Also I was wondering, is anyone going to be have main dinner seating? My mom and I are on to have main dinner seating and thought it would be nice if we could be seated with someone on here if it worked out.

When my wife saw the comments about Fish Extenders in this thread, she did a little research and started cutting and sewing. She has now finished one and is working on another. I guess we'll take both (one is a Nemo-themed fabric and the other is a has a bunch on pirates on it) and switch them out.

great idea! let me know if you see another one as cute as yours!! I have no talent in crafts and I couldn't make one if my life depended on it. You should see my door magnets. i am trying to make scrapbook type ones so I can actually use them for a scrapbook and they are not turning out how I imagined...sigh. oh well. My 8 yr old is having a ball making them! How old is your dd?

Our DD is 8yo going on 18...lol

I will keep an eye out on eBay for other FEs.

I am also looking for a Jasmine costume. DD is so funny, Jasmine is her fav princess but she doesn't like to show her belly ( I will remind her of this when she is a teen wanting a bikini ) so I have to find the one costume that is longer and doesn't show the belly. I am hoping to get a good deal towards the end of Halloween. We will be at WDW the week before the cruise and she is going to the BBB so I want it for then and the cruise.

I've never been impressed with the wine tasting so I'll pass on that but the Margarita tasting would be cool! We will def have to check that out!! Yeah the Martini tasting was a little much for us what a memory! I'm also so excited to get back on the Magic!

Mark and I will be driving down friday night but I'm still nor sure what the plan is on when we will be leaving. It would be nice to meet everyone there for dinner. I'll keep you and the fam update on when we plan to leave here that friday. I so can't wait!!!!

I'm going to take a wild guess that TigerTink is from somewhere in the Upstate near me. Could be totally off but that's my guess.

Which reminds me of two things I need to mention to TigerTink:

1) 12 days til Bama!

2) You realize we play Florida State on Nov 8th? What a game to pick for that date. I'm going to spend half the day running down to Diversions every 5 minutes to find out the score.

We play Vandy and my Gator kids will probably travel to see it. But.... we play you all on the 15th...must get off the boat early and watch that game. Should be a great game!!!
