November 2012 Trip planners #4~almost Disney time! Everyone welcome!

Dilemma... I saw the new dinner menu for WCC and I'm not impressed... what if you have someone in your party who doesn't eat meat or fish???

Anyway, I have a back up ADR at the Trail's End Buffet and I'm thinking of going there instead.

We have Deluxe Dining so cost isn't an issue.

I don't know what to do... we have quite a few buffets and I was looking forward to the non-buffet @ WCC.

Suggestions, anyone? We're not "foodies" so we don't need any place fancy and have a party of 10, with 5 kids.

This day is our Magic Kingdom day and we're having lunch @ Liberty Tree Tavern.

hmmm I did change mine. Though I havent officially cancelled yet-im like that- I did make a ressie for a late lunch at RFC at AK(where we will be that day) could you do a meal at one of the surrounding resorts? Kona Cafe? The Wave? Tony's? Plaza? Or even DTD?

I moved some stuff-- I'm so sorry, MommyOf3Princess27, I have some ADRs to change around... I really thought they were my finals but then WCC threw a big wrench in my plans!


Anway, I let go of both WCC & Trail's End and replaced it with the Cape May Cafe Clam Bake -- which we originally had scheduled for Friday, the night of our Xmas party & Osborne lights.

So now we are eating at Hollywood & Vine (not my favorite choice, but the only thing available) on Friday @ 4:50p, walking through the lights, then going to the Xmas party. It was really important for my aunt to see the lights, so I had to cram it in my already super packed schedule.

MommyOf3Princess27 - can I list my new list of ADRs for you to update? Again, my apologies

Because my H & older DD are spending the afternoon @ Universal we will be left with 2 extra TS credits... is there anything that can be done with them, or are we just out of luck?

Our last meal will be at Raglan Road in DTD before we head back to the hotel and go to the airport via limo.

Can they be converted to snack credits? Or should we try to grab something "to go" in DTD to eat at the airport? I know I cant bring liquids in, but I think food is OK... I'll have to double check that...

I never thought we'd be left with EXTRA credits!

42 for us! So excited! Bought new luggage and a stroller for up to 50 lbs last week. Just about ready!

I'm probaby going to end up renting a stroller. The new City Mini GT is up to 65 lbs which is great since I have a tall 4 year old. I did consider not using a stroller at all as he hasn't used a stroller for 2 years except at Disney last year but I think it will just be easier plus we would have a place to store any extra stuff we need to carry.

morning all, Day 45!!!!

spent yesterday working on projects and pulling out stuff that needs to be packed not that the weather is getting cooler!! Ahhh its so close.

DD wolk up with night terrors last night which made for a long night. Hopefully disney isnt to stimulating for her and we have to do this for the next 45 nights...

We are thinking of postponing our trip to January. I was checking the school schedule yesterday noticed a week in January where the kids have 3 days off, so that would mean missing only 2 days. Hard decision!

If we decide to change, I'll be canceling our dining reservations, including CDP with NPH.
I'll let you guys know first.

Awwww don't be sad. DH would prefer us go in Jan vs Nov. and said to tell you enjoy. Unfortunately even with the days off we do have for our 3 in Jan. none of them work well for all 3 at the same time (1 is in YR and the other 2 are in Traditional).

Okay, so it's 3:23 and I haven't been asleep yet. My youngest daughter is at a hospital in Virginia having her baby...5 weeks early! I'm waiting for text updates. We live in Ohio, and I hate being so far away. I didn't sleep last night either and only got 3 hours of sleep today. I am totally wide awake. Yikes!

To make matters worse, my girls grandmother passed away last night (my ex's mother) here in Ohio and they (my 2 girls) had been planning a trip here for the funeral. Meanwhile, my older daughter's 5 year old has been running a fever of between 103 and 105 just since yesterday. So it's hard for her to plan whether to come here or not.

I won't go into all the details and logistical problems, but suffice it to say, it will be an interesting few days ahead for all of us. I don't tend to worry or get stressed about things, so I'm good there. It would just be good to have a couple of things settled for my girls' sakes. Thanks for listening to my middle-of-the-night ramblings! My DH is fast asleep and doesn't even know our daughter is in labor. He'll get a surprise when he wakes up in a couple of hours!

Meanwhile, I'm watching House Hunters and Property Brothers

Hey Princess, I feel your pain, as my DD has them too! How old is your DD? Mine is 4 and I feel horrible when she has them. She can't talk and sometimes just has her eyes halfway closed and just cries and yells.I feel so helpless. Hope your night tonight is a little quieter!

Yesterday I got the road ID bracelet that I made for DS4 that has both DH's and my cell # in case he gets separated or something. I showed it to DS and tried to explain what it was for and I think I freaked him out with with the thought of him ever getting separated from us. Honestly until reading about it on the Dis we had never thought about this idea as our kids are practically glued to our side when we go somewhere crowded. And DH isn't too thrilled about the whole idea either (he thinks that would never happen to us) but I might still make DS wear it.

Well sort of sad news...we have BOG ressies on Nov. 21st for my sister and mom but now that my baby sister just had a baby my mom doesn't want to go with us. So the thing is now who will go with my sister out of me, DH, DD16, DD11, DD5 and DNephew 9. Or do we just cancel? Decisions, decisions.

yeah its tough. SHe is 9 and now that she is getting old she understands it a little more and is able to explain it to me after she comes out of it. Its scary because she gets out of bed and is walking around,eyes open and talking but just does not see me. Sometimes she is screaming for me and doesnt realize im right there.
