Woohoo, no Magical Express for me. I booked through Costco this morning and for my 8 day rental starting on November 2, I got an Intermediate for $147.12. You do have to have a Costco membership card no to book this and they say they can ask to see the card at pickup.
I could have gone a step down to a Compact for $6 less, but at this rate, I think I will splurge.
Boy, this rate is more like the old days, around $18 a day. I have no problem paying that at all.
Now I have to decide if I wish to cancel my Magical Express or let them send the bags to the room.![]()
Advantage has gone down again.
11/10-11/18 for a large car for $138.83. No codes.
Quick question, never used advantage before, however I just put in my dates (11/27-12/8) and the price quoted was $181. This much cheaper than anything I've found so far. (Dollar has been the cheapest for $235). I've read the small print and it says this is including all charges? Is this correct? Am I missing something here? Just want to make sure![]()
Can you point me to the link that shows the dollar fees and terms about the gas receipt?

LOSS of USE INS - What insurance company do you guys use to cover this? Our Farm Bureau insurance does not cover this. This spring got it from AAA for $72 for 11 days (loss of use only/other coverage all from Farm B.). AAA uses Allianz Insurance Company; used the AAA code.
Don't need all of the other stuff packaged with travel insurance which raises the price significantly.
Just wondering if there is a reason why you wouldn't want to use Dollar?
hurleysweety said:Just a personal preference.: Their policies just seem much more strict - having a gas receipt within 10 miles of drop off, actually having to use a counter and extra time declining add-ons and tolls passes. Alamo means going straight to a kiosk, no line, and never having to talk to anyone. IMHO, it works better for us than any other car rental company. Of course, if National comes close, we'd consider that too since we have emerald aisle.
Need assistance with getting a good deal for:
Economy car is fine,
Nov 2 pick up noon at mco
return
Nov 5, drop at 4pm mco
Any help is appreciated!
I have, Visa, costco, amex if anyone knows of any deals.
Thank you!

Both my Chase Sapphire Visa and Disney Chase Visa cover loss of use and will also cover my deductible for my regular insurance for collision, as long as I use that card for the rental.
