Hi there Cruisers:
We sailed on the Disney Dream last year on November 3-7 for a 4 night Bahama Cruise with WDW Radio and Lou Monjello. This year we will also be on the Disney Fantasy for the 7-night Eastern Carribean Cruise November 2-9. Again we will be with the WDW Radio group. I have some questions if anyone can help. 1) Does anyone know what the dining rotations are. What nights are the Pirate Bash Diner, the Captain' Gala and the Till We Meet Again Dinner. 2) We will have my Parents-In-Laws with us, (celebrating 60 yr anniversary), and wondering what shore excursions would be fun to do in St Thomas and St Maartin. 3) Someone asked about Fish Extender Pockets. We made ours last year based on the 7-Dwarfs with the 7-Beanie hats upside down for pockets. We are in the process of making a pocket for parents which will be simple square pockets with patches of favorite character, their name in "Disney Script" and a mouse face/ears with the colors of their favorite characters. The FE gift exchange was really fun last year and you will really enjoy it. We made several new cruise friends from it. (1) When I made an inquiry about the rotation I was told they wouldn't know anything until a few days prior to sailing. I believe you can make a request for the rotation you would like based on the different current possibilities. Or you can request to be in a certain dining room for a particular night (ie the Royal Court for formal night). I was told that the rotation could be (if requesting Royal Court for formal night) Enchanted Garden, Royal Court (formal night), Animators (Turtle Talk night), Enchanted Garden (pirate night out of St Maarten), Royal Court (casual), Animators(Animation Magic Semi Formal night) and Enchanted Garden (Farewell night).

Which means:
Night 2 - Formal
Night 4 - Pirate
Night 6 - Semi formal
Night 7 - Farewell


(2) We too are travel with my parents this time around and have looked for tours suiting them. We did the Eastern Cruise a couple of years ago and our experience was not great with St. Maarten. We took the Under Two Flags tour and would not recommend it based on our experience. The guide was not great and we found the tour was not pretty. We were left with an impression that the island is not very pretty (which may be totally in accurate but was our observation based on the tour we did). This is also the feedback from some friends who have stayed on the island. Perhaps the beach area is better or some of the boat tours. On St. Thomas we had a fabulous time going to Paradise Point (a tour I notice they are not offering any more). We have heard wonderful things about St John but it would seem those tours are full. This island for us was beautiful and we really enjoyed tour it last time (even though we were caught in a rain storm on our walk back to the ship!).

Mixology Seminar: requesting November 7th, Day 6 (Sea Day) @ 2pm. The venue will be determined by how large our group is. DCL may even break it into 2 groups depending on how many people are participating. Cost is $15 per person, charged to your stateroom (No refund if you do not show) Minimum Age requirement is 21.

What I will need (from everyone attending) at the present time is your full name, reservation # & stateroom #. If you are guarantee just state GTY & you can let me know the room # when it's assigned. Please either PM me here on the Disboards OR FB message me with your info & I'll put you on the list.

MutinEARS Mixology - I'm sending off the request form today to Alma, Group Review & Events Specialist for Disney Cruise Line. Hopefully they send some Pixie Dust our way by granting our request. I put a guest count of 35, & presently we're at 28. Alma said we can increase the amount of participants though.

DEADLINE for MutinEARS Mixology Group Event list is Sunday, September 22, 2013.

We were on the disney fantasy cruise in June and had a great time right up until the end...one of our little ones ended up pretty sick at the end and so the last couple days were a blur I collect charms for my 4 y.o. Daughters bracelet and needless to say I forgot to get one and just recently realized that you can only get them on the boat. Just wondering if anyone would be willings to pick one up for us? Also, I saw that some are looking for FE's.... We ordered one off of etsy from ilvdisney2008 - super fast and really cute! We also ordered a really cute Minnie dress from her- had it in less that a week! Thanks for you time, Lynn

Are the people that are part of your FE group travelling with Lou WDW Radio or with a different group, (DisBoards?). If you have a DisBoards group, how does one book? No, our group is not a part of Vickie's FE group. This was started here by the Disboarders (hey, that's a pretty good name too!) and open to anyone who is a member of the Disboards. It then migrated over to Facebook and anyone from that group could join as well.

We didn't book through any one agent or group. We just all love Disney and cruising and Disney Cruise Lines. Some of the people booked through Lou's group and some booked through other travel agents. Some booked through Disney and some even mentioned they booked through Expedia or Travelocity or Costco. Personally, we booked while we were on our last cruise.

To join our FE List you just have to ask and we will put you on the list. We need your name, the people in your party (kid's ages) and room number. Since we are closing the original groups (as they are at the maximum), anyone joining will be a part of our "Green" group (for those joining late).

If you have questions about how the FE groups work, I would urge you to read a couple of the threads on FE (Fish Extender) groups. What ever you decide to do, I know-- no, we all know--you will have a fantastic time on your cruise!

If you have any other questions for us, please feel free to ask them here, or on our Face Book page. By the way, our FB page is a closed page and you must request to join it. If you wish to join, please PM me your email address and I will forward you an invitation.

FE Announcement!!!! The MutinEars FE Group--Red , MutinEars FE Group-White and MutinEars FE Group-Blue are now CLOSED!!!!!! Open for late comers-MutinEars FE GREEN Group. I will leave the Green list open until October 2, 2013, at which point it will close as well.

Once I have room numbers for Red, White and Blue, I will republish the lists. If you would like your list (lists) emailed to you, please PM me with your email address and I will send the list out to you.

I decided to keep the list going (Green) to avoid confusion by two people posting lists. So--welcome to all who want to join the Green List and Happy prepping to the Red, White and Blue!!!! Hello! I just found out about all the "backstage" fun to be had here on DIS...we're cruising Nov. 2nd on the fantasy with myself, DH, DS1 and DD3. We've got little ones and we're really excited, we went this time last year on the 4 night and loved it! I would love some info on how to get involved with the FEE to exchange gifts and any other awesome things I could be missing. Still a newbie and would love to hear about the extra magic!
