How did I miss the strawberry smoothies on my past cruises? Where are they from?

My DH (Burt) and I will be joining you all for this cruise. This will be our 11th DCL cruise, unless I can talk DH into one before the PC cruise next May (#10)! It will be our first time on the Fantasy. Just the two of us, unless I can convince the kids (28+DH, 23, 17) to come along.

Let's see, my Top 5 would be:
Experiencing the Fantasy for the first time
Verandah time with coffee and a good book
Drinks of the Day
No cell phone for my DH!
SEA DAYS!!

Hmmm, I don't see it on the menus but I am sure they will make you some! Hopefully it's good! Maybe you should get your TA to send in an allergy food request....allergic to everything but gnocchi

Yeah, the Gnocchi was not on the menu last fall either so I requested it. When I finally got it, it was two nights later in Lumiere's and it was awesome!!

Of course, I then requested it for the last night of the cruise and so did Robin (Tart Annihilator). We received it after everyone else got their meals so we already had a feeling something was wrong. In hurries the Head Server with two trays from Palo. OMG....it was awful! It was total mush! Our poor server, Putu, was so embarassed and apologized over and over. Robin and I both just laughed it off and let it go. No big deal. Afterall, it wasn't on the menu anyway. I wish I would've taken a picture of the two different gnocchi meals though. It was actually laughable.

I'll be sure to tell my TA about my "allergies" and see if she has any pull.

The best one's are offered at the Cove Cafe (Magic). Of course, there you have to pay for them and at Goofy's they were free but just not the same.

as Nancy mentioned Queit Cove on the Magic is the best place.. Hoping the Fantasy will have them as well..

Several cruises ago a group of us started a "Strawberry Smoothie Meet" as an alternative to the wine tasting, beer tasting etc, because we dont drink,,
The meet was a rousing sucess and its become a cruise tradition...
theres always a radical or 2 who like to stir the pot and try a chocolate smoothie now and then..(but we wont name any names!)

I didn't ask for anything in it's replacement probably because I devoured the bread basket single handedly and I was full, but I do recall Putu being quite upset about it. He even muttered "Man, why do they have to s....w me on the last night like this"! (I'm thinking he was concerned about his tip at the time). .

oh yeah! i've seen pictures from Halloween with you and Nate wearing your radical hippie costumes. Those were wild and happening times...free love, burning br@s and drinking Smoothies.

Well, we are officially out. I moved this cruise to a new date last night. Pretty sure we are going to do a land/sea vacation instead! (We did a 7 night cruise vacation this year and decided we want to do a land trip next year). Hopefully someday we will get on the Fantasy! Enjoy all!

... we may be moving to a different cruise date as well. Looks like the November 16 sail date will be required for our friends to avoid a conflict with a family wedding.

That said, I'm still here until we make it official (though we're not yet booked at all even for this cruise.)

And by the way, no messing up the ship if we're going to be sailing on her two weeks later... behave yoruselves!

We are super excited for this cruise but haven't posted in a while. Again it's me, dh, and ds 8,3 at time of cruise. This will be our second cruise but first 7day. Sorry for the repeat info. But it's been a while since I introduced us! 17 months to go!
