Hello Fellow Cruisers!

We are sailing on our third disney cruise Nov.2 to the Eastern Caribbean but this the first time I have heard of the DIS forums. I would love to get more info about the FE. A friend just let us in on their experience with a FE and while I understand the concept any information as to how many are participating and the expectations would be GREAT...oh and also to know if it is still possible to join would be great!

We have a couple of spaces left if you want to join the FE. Basically, it's kinda like a "secret santa" for cruising. You drop off a little something for the people on your list in a "fish extender" by their door, and they do the same for you. If you want to know more there are several threads just about fish extenders. PM me your information if you want to take part. And welcome aboard.

Okay-I've updated the FE tonight and posted it on Facebook and emailed it to everyone who had previously asked for an email copy. IF you need a copy and haven't received one, please let me know and I'll send it to you.

Please note, that I corrected the posting of Bob's and my information. We are on the White List as participants. We are listed on the Blue and Red lists in gray for your information only. Please don't think that we are participating in all three lists. We the current revisions, the lists are averaging 20 cabins each.

I am interested in knowing if anyone has eaten at Remy on the Fantasy? We have enjoyed dining at Palo (on the Magic) and are trying to decide if we should try Remy this time around.

Do you know who (or where) I give the pillowcase to? Do they deliver it back to your room or do you need to go somewhere to pick it up? Do you need to provide the marker or not?

Hello! I'm not sure if any has answered this for you yet but a friend indicated that you drop it off at guest services and they have it signed and it is returned to your stateroom before disembarkation! This sounds like fun. I have heard of guest handing in matting for picture frames for signing as well. Great idea to matt a family photo of the cruise! Hope this helps.

Our friends who are travelling with us on this cruise went to Remy's in December. They said it was really wonderful - but you really have to like French food - and plan to eat like 7 courses. I am not that much of a French food fan and couple that with the $50 per person plus tip upcharge, we didn't go for it. We have eaten dinner and Palo's several times and have really enjoyed that. Chocolate Soufflé is to die for! Just wish I could skip dinner there and just pay for a chocolate soufflé.

Thanks Leslie! I agree Palo was an amazing dining experience for us on the Magic. I think we are leaning to Palo again just trying to decide if we go for brunch or dinner. This time around we will be traveling with my parents and have to take them into consideration as well (for some things at least!). Thanks again!

I am looking to order a Fish Extender for on our family but am curious if anyone knows if I can order them made in Canada? I have found multiple made in the States and some who will ship to Canada but was hoping to save money and time with shipping! Any ideas??

Have you tried looking on Etsy? They have quite a few Fish Extenders on there - I just don't know if anyone is in Canada. Good luck!

Yes I have been on Etsy and I love the Extenders they have. The ones I have looked at are based in the US and some will ship to Canada. Thanks for the reply!

We were on the disney fantasy cruise in June and had a great time right up until the end...one of our little ones ended up pretty sick at the end and so the last couple days were a blur I collect charms for my 4 y.o. Daughters bracelet and needless to say I forgot to get one and just recently realized that you can only get them on the boat. Just wondering if anyone would be willings to pick one up for us? Also, I saw that some are looking for FE's.... We ordered one off of etsy from ilvdisney2008 - super fast and really cute! We also ordered a really cute Minnie dress from her- had it in less that a week! Thanks for you time, Lynn

Just wanted to say hi all...we'll be enjoying our 3rd Disney cruise Nov. 2nd. We sailed on this ship last Nov and had a blast. I tried not posting here since once I do the countdown begins for me (and that's the hardest part).

Our twins (one boy and one girl) turn 6 and they've been so spoiled that this will be their 3ed birthday party on a Disney Cruise.

DCL may even break it into 2 groups depending on how many people are participating. Cost is $15 per person, charged to your stateroom (No refund if you do not show) Minimum Age requirement is 21.

Hi there Cruisers:
We sailed on the Disney Dream last year on November 3-7 for a 4 night Bahama Cruise with WDW Radio and Lou Monjello. This year we will also be on the Disney Fantasy for the 7-night Eastern Carribean Cruise November 2-9. Again we will be with the WDW Radio group. I have some questions if anyone can help. 1) Does anyone know what the dining rotations are. What nights are the Pirate Bash Diner, the Captain' Gala and the Till We Meet Again Dinner. 2) We will have my Parents-In-Laws with us, (celebrating 60 yr anniversary), and wondering what shore excursions would be fun to do in St Thomas and St Maartin. 3) Someone asked about Fish Extender Pockets. We made ours last year based on the 7-Dwarfs with the 7-Beanie hats upside down for pockets. We are in the process of making a pocket for parents which will be simple square pockets with patches of favorite character, their name in "Disney Script" and a mouse face/ears with the colors of their favorite characters. The FE gift exchange was really fun last year and you will really enjoy it. We made several new cruise friends from it.
