November 2, 2013 - Disney Fantasy 7 night Eastern - Cruise Meet

Okay, I bit the bullet and joined the FB group :rolleyes1

I still like posting here better because of the smilies  :goodvibes :thumbsup2

Well, we booked our flights!!!:cool1::yay::cheer2::woohoo::dance3:

I am thrilled because we got the direct flights :jumping1:

Normally, coming from Western Canada, we have to get up at 3am and it takes ALL day to get there! Depending on the connection, we often don't get to Disney World until about 9 or 10pm and then we are soooo zonked, we just head to bed! This time we can get up at a normal time and we land around 5pm so we have enough time for a trip to Walmart for supplies and dinner somewhere and even pool time :woohoo:

We are spending the week before at WDW. It will have been 4 years since we have gone as a family (I did a TA trip last January and might have another one this year and my hubby went with his mom to watch the last shuttle launch back in summer 2011) so this is a MUCH needed vacation ::yes::

Is it too early to start packing??? :rolleyes1

Just off the Dream Christmas cruise to the Bahamas and booked this cruise while onboard.

Can't wait to get back on an Eastern Caribbean cruise and visit St Maarten and St Thomas again, 2 of our favourite ports

:cool1::cool1:

Hi everyone,

I wanted to introduce myself. I am Lesa and my husband is Greg. We will be cruising with our two youngest, both girls. Macy will be 11 and Morgan will be 1 at cruise time. We have done several cruises, this will be our second with Disney. We just did the Alaska cruise in September and had a great time! We are DVC members and crazy Disney addicts. (which I can see puts us in good company)

We are booked at AKV Jambo the week before the cruise, but my family is really hoping I can get us in at BWV or BC at the 7 month mark... I am not holding my breath, so we will likely remain at AKV. (not a sacrifice) We plan to do MNSSHP, hope to see a few of you there.

I see there are several families with kids and even a few others with babies... yeah! My daughter Macy would love to "pen pal" with any other kids that might be interested, boys or girls. Feel free to PM if you think your kids might be interested. We had a great time with the other families on the ship in Alaska, but it would have been great for the kids to connect before the cruise the way we adults do.

We bounce between two houses in two states, Washington and California. Grew up in California with Disneyland, past cast member and life long AP holders. But desperate to forget that California even exists, we now primarily reside in Washington state, so I just say "Washington" but Greg still has to bounce between the two for work, so he may tell you Los Angeles... LOL

Enough rambling... can't wait to get to know everyone!
Lesa

I've just transferred my booking to this cruise so we can cruise with our buddies Tod&Copper. :cool1:

Hi everyone!

Hey everyone I'm sad to say that we won't be joining you on this cruise:sad: Nate was never comfortable with sending the younger kids home with the older ones... says they may be 24 and 21 but when they are together they have the maturity level of 15 year olds at best:confused3 I don't know if I agree with that:rolleyes1 But my oldest son is getting married 7 months after this cruise and I'll tell ya I could go on several b2b for what a wedding costs these days!:scared: Anyway have a wonderful cruise and kids I'll be waving when you welcome back the Fantasy at 5am.... ok most likely I'll still be sleeping but I'll dream about it how's that:cloud9::rotfl2: AND Cass thanks for taking such good care of us... your the best TA EVER! :cheer2:

 Hi everyone! My family and I are looking at booking this cruise. We have been talking about which one to do and looks like this will be it. We will have 2 cabins ..... 1 cabin will be myself (Pam), DH (Mike) and DD (Katrina 26) ... The other cabin will be my DD (Leissa), her DH (Charlie) and their DS (Bentley 1). We just found out today that Bentley needs to see a cardiologist, so as long as everything is ok, we should be on this cruise. I have been on 6 Disney cruises, DH has been on 5, Leissa and Charlie have been on 2 and Katrina on 1. This will of course be Bentley's 1 Disney cruise. He has already been to WDW 2 times!! We have been to St Maarten and St Thomas several times but are looking forward to going again. I need to catch up on all the posts and things going on.....is there a place that everything is listed in 1 place at?? I know we will do FE. Looking forward to getting to know everyone over the next several months!
