November 15th, 2024 - 6-Night Bahamian Cruise from San Juan to Galveston (Lighthouse Point, Castaway Cay)

Welcome! We like meeting other families when at the park too. My boys are Zachary (3) and Conor (turns 6 week after cruise). Hoping they will meet everyone’s kids here at the kids clubs if they go. Not sure if they will be hesitant to stay without us or not. Will see how things go. If they don’t meet up in the kids club, hopefully we will meet around the boat.

Did everyone get to book their activities they wanted to? We skipped any extras this time around. Only looking to get tickets for Royal Gathering which we cannot book until check in.
I’m sure your boys will love the kids club especially by the end of the cruise. Phoenix went to the kids club at Aulani a couple months before she turned 5 and loved it. We were worried she wouldn’t leave us because she has terrible separation anxiety.

We have a BBB appointment booked and have a Pirates League appointment. I’m not sure we will keep the Pirates appointment since they only had 8:30 available which conflicts dinner since we have second seating. Maybe we are strange but we like eating later and heard you can potentially get better seats for entertainment since it’s less popular.

Found a company with good reviews that provides car seats (Wilbert Taxi Services). Will let you know how it goes in case you need in the future.

My TA just got back from a Lookout Cay cruise. Either of you have any questions? I’m going to ask if they are providing wagons at the beginning & end of the pier or if we should take our stroller off. I don’t want to be carrying either of my kids for half a mile lol.
I’m pretty set on bringing our stroller off for Lookout Cay since I’ve seen people reporting that getting one for the way back to the ship isn’t as likely. While our daughter is 6, she has leg weakness and doesn’t have much stamina for a long walk. Definitely don’t want to have to carry her and all the merch I know I’ll end up buying. 😂

Trying to decide if we should bring the umbrella stroller or BOB. We prefer the BOB for Disney vacations and also took it to Aulani but it might be too much stroller for a cruise (although we won’t use it onboard). The umbrella stroller would fit better in our cabin but handles poorly especially if there is any sand on the pavement. It also isn’t great if she falls asleep in it because her feet don’t stay on the foot rest.

Hi folks! I wasn't allowing myself to get excited for this trip because I was going through some medical stuff this summer, but it seems to be healing. And I'm excited now! Puerto Rico has been on my list for years, and I always love a Disney cruise. I'm glad there will be some diser's aboard!
