Yes, Veterans Day in U.S., National Holiday.

Definitely a US holiday, but not seeing anything on the web site indicating MS is closed that day.

While this is a recognized federal holiday in the US not all organizations/ businesses recognize it as they should to honor those who have served.

DS will be attending school on 11/11 as the school system in our area does not observe it.

The holidays for which MS is closed are New Year's, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas, and it closes early, 3 p.m., Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. It is open Martin Luther King day, President's Day, Juneteenth, Columbus Day and Veteran's Day.

Also note that the stock markets are open Veteran's Day, but not the bond markets.
