November 11, 2006 - MAGIC - Special Western "Double Dip" Cruise 11/11/06

Ladies and Gentlemen, the Thursday lunch restaurant IS Parrot Cay for the double dip cruises, so that's where we will be having our DIS Celebration Lunch. I'll still be meeting with the head server about having an area set aside for us. It's a seafood buffet and actually may work better for us, as we can change seats and mingle between trips to the buffet (without freaking out the servers). Dee, please note for the DIS Navigator to change from Luminere's to PC.

Maybe we can try for a group photo afterwards in the Atrium too Ohhhhh, another opportunity for boa wearing

Hi Y'all!!!! I've started my Trip Report , enter at your own risk and only if you have 14 hours to kill! I am posting this here not to drive up my view count... ...but to pay homage to Hannosmom, who was not mentioned in my report. She had to endure not only my months-long taunting about my impending cruise, but also had to hear every detail of my pre-boarding panic (short story: DH lost his ID before we boarded!) and was SO VERY SUPPORTIVE throughout! I love the etiquette list. I will say that I tend to pay no mind to other unless it is realy in you face. I only really rude gruop we meet was in the WD theater. Since it was a wish trip Disney would reserve seats for us. These people took off the reserved covers on 2 of the 4 seats and stuffed them under the chair. They really gave the CM and hard time about moving. Really surprised me especially since there were still tons of seats availible.
I love the tag and exchange ideas. However veryone wants to do it is fine with me.

Ok here is the plan for Thursday. Get ready it a long one. We have brunch at 11:00 at Palo and at 430 or so we are renewing our vows. Opps at 2:00 there is Margarita Tasting. Ok I know I say that I am a planning freak but this is one day that I am going wing it and see what happens. My first wedding was a mess ending in all the grooms’ men trying to find a florist that was open at 4:30 to get the mothers flowers, because I locked them in my brother en-laws house. I grew up in phx how did I know he didn't have keys to the place? For those of you who live in Phx you know what I mean. We ended up buying them at a supermarket. Oh yea that went over well. Its about 45 min between his house and the church we did it in 20 in an old station wagon that was overheating. Oh my wedding was quite the time. It well defiantly be time to relive some of the more funny moments on the cruise.

Oh and I might be getting together with Kris I know we talked about it but I don't rememberwhat came of it.

We too will more than likely be dressed and ready for action! I will talk it ove with my DW when she gets home but I don't see why we can't stop by we are later than Kris so it I think we should be able to stop by and get some icecream or CHEESE CAKE!!!!!

I had to share a frightfull thing that happened yesterday. I called DCL to see if I could get a Fl resident rate for our cruise. The CM said sure I can save you a ton . Tells me to hold and he just needs a supervisior to over ride a change fee. 30 min later he tells me that he will be refunding me over $1,500. I said that that sounds like way too much but I'll take it. After about an hour I am thinking there is no way That it makes sence. I sign on DCL to look at my ressie and I almost died. I was no longer in room 2500 on Nov 11. I was on a 3day in room 2614.No wonder such a price difference.I started to cry and called DCL back. CM tells me sorry your original room is not availible. I will have to talk to a supervisior but I really don't think there is much I can do. After a very long 30 mins she informs me that she got our cruise back but lost all of our resvervations for excusions and such. So no discount for me and I thinked I lost a year off my life. I always say when it sound to good to be true it probably is!!!!! It was a really bad experience!!!No real appology either I guess because I am a CM they really do not care how I am treated. Really sad.
