Well hoped everyone had a great weekend. It is getting very cold here after having the 60+ weather.

Hope everyone has a great week.

Hi all! Catching up on the thread this am.

Had a nice weekend, our den remodeling is coming along nicely. And the weather this weekend was very nice, 70 degrees on Friday. But, as Dee said, its back to regular February weather today. :sad2:

Jackie, thanks for posting the pics of your Dis meet. I met Molli and her mom in 2003. They were part of the "don't drink the koolaid, Mom" group of ax murderers. :teeth:

Love the wrist band idea---good way to recognize the non-lime green wearing DISer's. I think I will get DH to come up with a "not an ax murderer" design for a button for all who want one.

Having a meet in one of the restaurants is a grand idea!!! Sit, eat, drink, and talk....perfect! :grouphug:

I'm almost finished with my trip report of WDW. If you'd like to read it, here is the link:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1020852

I've posted alot of photos.

In a a couple of weeks, it should be official. We're getting ready to book. Just need to play catch up with life :)

Enjoy and happy reading!

Deb
Loved the trip report! Makes me really miss OKW, we stayed there in October, thanks to GrayFal  .

The pictures are great. I am going to have to visit Animal Kingdom next time I am in WDW. We always plan to, but then run out of time and energy before we get there. :) Next time we will have to visit AK first! :thumbsup2

Just a morning drive-by as I head out to work! I'm having my TA (the lovely and talented Kim) book our night at AKL pre-cruise. Peg's got to see her critters! Anybody else staying there pre-cruise?

Anybody done the jet-skis at CC? Do you book those in advance? Miss, "I'm an adventurer" will definately be doing that.

Linda I'd wear a 'not an axe-murder' button ::yes::

...off to work!

My son is a 3D computer graphic artist. I can also ask him if you would like. He keeps offering to do our sig logos. Let me know.

I've often warned my kids about potential ax murderers, I know they'd be pleased to know there will be a few who are "not an ax murderer," and would like everyone to know that they aren't ax murderers, either. Love the pin idea...

It was almost warm this weekend here...supposed to get to 79 yesterday! As long as I live here, I doubt I'll ever truly adjust to warm winter weather. No, I'm NOT complaining, I love it! Just keep wondering when I'm supposed to dig out sweaters that have been sitting patiently in my closet for 18 years now:).

Have a great day, fellow serial killers!

Carolyn

Deb, I just read through your trip report. How fun! We've never been to WDW and it was great to have some images to go with the names of things. Now, I'm really ready and waiting...waiting...waiting...

Thanks for sharing!

Carolyn

Wow, my computer was acting up for the past week and my son was sick the week before. I think I left off at page 60-something. Anyone know when the food and wine festival ends? I don't know whether to hit it the day before the cruise, or just wait until after, but it will definitely be over by then.

F&WF ENDS the weekend we board the ship....better go before ::yes::

Hey all. Hope you had a good weekend. I too, would like I'm "not an axe murderer"... as a matter of fact, in reply to my DSIS's post, I am going to rent a jet ski at some point, I've done it here in Arizona and it's a HUGE BLAST! At one point my friend Lisa and I were taking turns driving, then I realized it was WAY more fun for her to do 360's as fast as she could to throw me off the back. I'd go flying in the air and into the water. MUCH fun. I think my cheeks (on my face) hurt so much from all the laughing we did! Ok, off to do my journal!

You people are too funny with all of the "axe murderer" comments! :rotfl: That's what I am all about....tell it like it is....say what is on your mind.

Again, to bring some of the newbies back to the original conversation, my DH (network administrator and WAY more involved with computers and the Internet than I am) was concerned when I first joined these Boards that I was possibly conversing with "axe murderes!" pirate: .....unfortunately, there are those people out there for real.....but I had to laugh :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: because as I have grown to know these boards and who runs them, the term "axe murderer" just cracks me up! :lmao:

........the axe murderer must have Mickey Ears on too!

Sounds great, Dee! Tell him to go for it. Can't wait to see what he comes up with.

HI all- Just wanted to let you know that I will not be joining you all for the chat tonight. The husband in one of the families cruising with us just got a promotion at work (from Engineer to Captain with the Fire Dept. :firefight ) and we'll be going to his promotion ceremony. party: Hope everyone is having a great week so far!

Hey Carolyn,

What about coming to WDW before the cruise. You'll be in Orlando anyway. At least that's our thinking ;)

Anybody going to WDW before? Maybe we can have a Pre-Cruise Dis Meet at WDW. I'll set it up, if any are willing!

Deb

Deb, we are going out early to spend 2 days at WDW!! Don't think we'll be able to cram your 11 days worth of fun into 2, but it'll be a good taster for us. We're going to try to focus on Magic Kingdom (2 youngish kids, will be 8 and 5) and Epcot. Our homeschooled DS7 LOVES geography, so we're hoping he'll enjoy World Showcase (I think that's what its called..). How early are you going out before the cruise?

Carolyn

Holy Cow.....
I just updated the first page,,,,it is hard to believe there will be any more room on the ship!

::yes:: our little group is growning!

Pat,next time you update you can change our cabin # to 7612.

We got booked in ALK today for our pre-cruise stay........so how far out can you make ADRs now? I'm booking Boma as soon as I can! Anybody want to join us?

...well I've got a mess of stuff to check out before chat...in 45 minutes!
