Do the King bed rooms at the Hyatt have a sofabed also? If they do that would be better for us than the two doubles. The boys won't sleep together. If one DS and I could bookend DD on the King bed, the other DS could take the sofa.

We had a King in October and there was no sofa in the room. Just leather chair, desk and chair and of course the big king bed.

On our cruise last october we played DIStag, where each person who played left a little goodie on your fish outside your door and put a special DISmagnet on the door, then you would take that magnet and take a gift to the next person on your list.....it was so much fun coming back to the room each day and having goodies hanging on your door! people gave little things like stickers, candy, pirate stuff, postcards, keychains, etc....plus lots of tooth stuff (most of us on that cruise had major dental work while we talked on the thread for almost 2 years so we nicknamed our cruise the "molar express"!). everyone had a great time and this was a neat way to meet people plus see all decks of the ship!

I'll also be looking for table mates for dinner if anyone wants to adopt me. It will be me, DS 13, DS 12, and DD 4. I have a feeling the kids will skip out on me most nights and I'd prefer not to dine alone, LOL. (We're on late dining.)

Tracey, seeing as I have 4 dd's... 13, 12, 7 & 5.... I'm not going to be subjecting you or I to that kind of table!! I can see the hormones flying already. Which would leave you and I Perhaps we could get our own table? lol Don't worry, none of us will be left alone!

ooohhhh! That "tag" game sounds fun! Remember to explain exactly how it works as it gets closer (or now). Our kids are old enough now to think that is really FUN! Kinda like the old "Ding Dong Ditch".

To answer your question about our DD who is wanting to "chat", she will be 9 1/4 years when we sail.

We had our karate holiday party tonight. Everyone had so much fun! Stia was complaining of achey feet at the end of the night, she danced and played too hard!! This is a true family party and it's non stop music, games, food. We all have a blast. Even my knees hurt! Nice way to end the holiday break. For it's back to reality this Monday, my friends!

For those of you who know Becca I just want to share.... She'll be attending Morgan Park w/ Zib this semester!. It all happened very quickly. I called the headmaster Thursday and Friday, (yesterday), he called and said she can enroll. The semester starts in two weeks (finals are coming up), and she'll start in earnest w/ the semester. Wish her well, as she is very nervous and has little confidence in her wonderful abilities.

.......we were in 2120 last cruise and absolutely loved it!
But, then again, we didn't know what we were missing either! Lots of other DIS'ers had HIGH category staterooms!

No noise and close to the new Ocean Quest!.....very cool place for kids to hang out (adults too! With drink in hand! ).

Is there a goal or thought as to how many total posts we will acheive by the time we sail?

My old group last Nov had this crazy thing about #'s of posts. I admit, I fed right into it.
We ended up with over 3,000 posts before we sailed. Some DIS'ers were left with the daunting task of talking amongst a still few left behind (or themselves!) to get to that goal before the actual sail date. Those who were busy travelng or at WDW beforehand were banking on some die hard posters!

WOW! We're you guys ever chatty yesterday!!! I knew I should have gotten on the computer.

I'm finally recovering from the creeping crud that's been going around. Last week I was at work only on Friday, and back in bed yesterday. Today I'm feeling nearly human and will go to the station for a hour or so just to straighten up my desk so I can jump right in Monday morning. Then a stop at the grocery for supplies.....and after that....most likely a nap

Regarding the Hyatt and group booking....I'll probably be one of those 'add ons' as soon as I know this cruise date is 100%. Please let me know if there is a cut-off date/final count date from the Hyatt.

Pat, I'm going to take a look at that time share link you posted. I promised myself I'd do a 'real' trip this year instead of piddling away my points on long weekends. Last year I used 2004 banked points for Disneyland and one night at my 'home' resort (Legacy) for the night of our company Christmas party. I have enough this year for a week at pretty much any RCI resort I want. It's just a question of how much $ I want to spend getting there. I don't know, with a 7 day cruise this year.....maybe I'll just plan on a spluzzy time share week for 2007 instead. (BTW, I'm Shell Vacations Club.)

When the time comes, I'll be looking to link dining for late seating also. Did that last November and sat with Brazilian DISers. We were just a table for four....I'd love to be at a BIG table this time

GrayFal, I'm with you. I'm going to stay in a timeshare outside of the park and plan on leaving Tuesday as well. We're also doing Epcot because I can't wait to take my son on Soarin'. I know he will LOVE it. And he will also love the dinosaurs in the Energy Pavillion. Can't beat a double dip cruise and top it off with a little Disney. The kids don't have school anyway!

Well...we're having to rethink some of our pre-cruise plans. Haven't been able to lock everyone down on a yea or nay ....and boy is it frustrating for an OCD person like me!!!! Want to know when I'm leaving, where I'm staying and how my butt is getting from one place to another.......plus how much it's costing me. Oh well....will just be a money-saving fool for a while to make sure I can cover it all.....

That would be me, Jeanna. How we all met one another last year was from chatting. We had started comparing prices and the group rate we had through AAA beat everyone. It started that it was all just family in our group but we had a couple extra rooms that we didn't need so some of the DIS'ers took them to save some money, plus get the onboard credits (or free soda package before it was free to all). The group amenities are very nice, too!! So, we all just chatted to plan what everyone was doing and got to know each other as people not just other vacationers. Now, we have done other trips with each other and talk all the time. We are more like family now. Lord help us all!!
