FavoriteAuntie, I really enjoyed the stingray adventure also. I loved that they swim around you and brush against you, just like a kitty-cat. One of the smaller ones kept swimming between my legs. Did they mention if any of the males have returned yet?

There is one small male that returned. There are only 3 or 4 rays that haven't come back...

Hello fellow cruisers! We have finally returned from the vacation of a lifetime!
When I get further down the rode (maybe a few days) I will give a better, more detailed report on everything......it was a complete blast surprising and spoiling our kids! I love that awesome ship! We had such a blast on the Nov. 12th Eastern Magic!

I haven't even gone back and chatted with my group yet! I saw that "jaypd" posted just a few days ago and yes, he and his clan were there too!

So glad you rebooked. Did you get a good deal? Favorite Auntie was there too, but I didn't see you. Right?

The spoiling went like this....
2 nights at Ron Jon's
Surprise to the kids we are getting on that beautiful ship for 7 nights!
Stingray at CC!
Disembarked and shed a few tears but not many 'cause of 11/11/06!
Surprise drive to Nickelodeon Hotel....stayed 5 nights! Way too long, but I'll get to that later.
Wet N' Wild.....NO ONE was there!
Downtown Disney and fun at the Boardwalk
Magic Kingdom....all day and back for Spectromagic
Gatorland.....what a strange place that is!
Typhoon Lagoon on Thanksgiving! FUN!
Toured City Walk....ate at Jimmy's Maragritaville
Toured the Wilderness Lodge....cool place! Looks like Oregon where we are from
One last night at the Hyatt MCO and shopped till we dropped

Have not touched a computer in over two weeks! I completely detatched my self from work and worries and we all had the best vacation ever!

Hope you all are doing well......can't wait to get on that gorgeous ship again!
BTW, it was DECKED OUT in Christmas decorations (the terminal as well) before we ever got on! So plan on next year the same! Plan on taking your Holiday pictures there....the Lifestyles photos ops are every evening in the main lobby and make for great cards that Disney will make for you very afordably!

Well it looks like I will be cancelling out 9/3 4 day and my 10 day S Carribean....but I do get to do this one so add me to the list. I am excited as my birthday will be during this week!

We decided to tell DDs tonight about our Wonder cruise on 12/8 (in just 13 days! ) and DH said, "Girls, you'd better really enjoy this trip b/c it's the last you'll see of Disney until 2007 (our trip for Epcot's 25th)" The poor man has no idea I've already put the deposit for 11/11/06!!!

The girls were over the top! What made it extra special is that 9yo DD has Asperger's and doesn't usually react very well to surprises (although we've been told not to stop, that eventually she'll learn and I guess she did!) She was smiling, giggling, happy as can be and even said, "Thank you!" You have to know her to understand just how significant all that was. I was boo-hooing and DH was even a bit teary (and he's not even going!).

Now, if I can only figure out how to break it to him that we're doing the 11/11/06, too...

DIS NURSE, no I don't think we met. I have to admit, the other thread got a bit overwhelming toward the final months/weeks and I just couldn't keep up and lost interest. I did the stingrays at cc too, when did you do it? Our time was 10 AM, we were the first ones of the day! What a blast that was...

Okay I have already admitted that I suffer from OCPD, so please bear with me.

Does everyone have plans as to where they are staying the night before we set sail?

What about transportation to and from the port?

I am negotiating a group rate at the Hyatt airport hotel if anyone is interested.

I also found this awesome company with the busses, quite reasonable and they had a trailer for the luggage.

Just some food for thought.
