An other idea would to go to Walmart once in Florida. I remember a while back reading that there is a Walmart pretty close to the pier. I think somewhere in Coco Beach.
That was a plan as well but if they dont have anything. I don't want to spent the day ai was going to catach up on sleep and realxing driving around looking for shorts or spending $40 for them on the ship, although I have some shorts from disney world I bought three years ago and they look brand new.

Interesting number, is there some special significance to that one?

There is some significance. Our original long term goal was 5500. The day we set sail is the 316th day of the year (according to the Julian calender). Add them together and wala...5816. If we make that we can just keep adding 316 till we set sail.

As a guy I would just like to say that a I think visiting a Mexican hardware store would be interesting. So would visiting a Mexican Bowling Alley, Sports Bar, Sporting Goods Store and dare I say Hooters (just to see if the Mexican Buffalo wings are as good of the American ones, of course).

Let see, there are about 300 to 1 dress or shoe stores to hardware stores in the good ole USA but you ladies still want to go dress shopping. And then make fun of us guys for wanting to widen our intellectual and international knowledge of how things work by visiting a Hardware store. The shame!

And for the Duct tape. No way I would come back with any. Don't need it. Already packed 2 rolls for the trip.

I bit the bullet and upgraded for the sake of peace of mind. If you are playing tag and need to know, miatamel is now in 7584.

Can we book 2? My DH never gets the right part the 1st time ;) He'll require a return visit.

I stand corrected. That is the quote of the day! :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

lol! an excursion for the DH's!!!!! a Mexican Home Depot!!!!!!!!!

I can so picture that!
did you know there is a stand up comedian that talks about the home depot
in Mexico. the men line up outside to try and get work for themselves. Inside the store is nothing. That is how they know to come to america and go to the home depot. Theres is the training facility. DD is here and I read her the post and this is what she said. The comedian is carlos mencia .
Okay I never heard of him , must be the generation gap. :rotfl2:

ok, was trying to remember who I wanted to respond to from the last few hundred page and finally just gave up! ;) Packing is almost done here and dh is in super cleaner mode right now. Only 4 more days until we leave! :cool1: I still have to finish the tag bags, magnets and get all our paperwork togehter...

Welll, at least I know who to call if I need Duct Tape next week.

HEY, pretty soon we will all be sailing with,

Safe journey to Clynne and Surley and the munchkins as they head out today. I'm jealous of you guys spending some time at WDW before the cruise. I can just see little Miss M bouncing down Main Street at the Magic Kingdom and her face when she sees how BIG the castle is!!

Who else gets to leave before Friday?

Pat, the "formal" ears are packed. :thumbsup2

Dragonflydreaming, so glad your little one is better. :goodvibes

Clynne and Surley, have a great trip and can't wait to see you! :grouphug:

My dh would love the hardware store excursion, too. Confession time, I carry a flat pack of duct tape in my purse at all times. I used to be a girl scout and have to be prepared.

Good Morning All!

Can I just say that the men in my family have the capacity to drive me even nuttier then my PPM (porkroll packing mom)! Last night they all tried on their dress pants and they actually fit. I thought all was good until I mentioned that we needed to get some dress shoes.....that's when the fits began. My DH actually had the audacity to say that his black sneakers WERE his dress shoes. The boys followed suit and I wound up throwing my arms in the air and leaving the room while they all stood there shirtless in their dress pants holding sneakers..............

where's that tequilla?

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: My youngest two might even suggest that I let them wear their crocs for their dress shoes! I'm not sure what to do about middle DS. He wears that odd size to find for young guys (size 6). Most kid sizes stop at size 5 and many stores only carry mens's shoes starting with sizes at 7 or 8. I hate this stage! If I don't find something today, he WILL be wearing his tennis shoes for dress shoes!

Ahhh Tequilla with the worm. I remember Mezcal well...maybe too well.

Did I mention that I can have tequilla mixed in a drink but not alone all by itself?

:) + tequilla alone = :goodvibes then it moves onto :rotfl: then :rotfl2: pretty soon I'm on top of a table  and before you can pour me yet another.......I'm :crazy2: and then I :faint:

In the morning I will be  with a :headache: and :worship: the porcelin goddess.

The rest of you would be party: and I would once again be reminded of why I can't have tequilla alone.

So the worms all yours guys!

:rotfl2: :rotfl: That just cracked me up! I feel your pain - my friend I am NO LONGER allowed to drink the stuff!

THANK GOD somebody explained the BRAT diet - I have no children and could NOT for the life of me why you guys would put your sick kids on a BRAT diet! :rotfl2: :lmao: I have had a great time reading all your posts, and laughing my fanny off (closed the office door) - because with the squirking kids, the men wanting to wear their sneakers and someone's DH wanting a HARDWARE store in Mexcio I can barely contain myself! :disrocks: party: :rockband: :jester:

We leave Thursday night, but will be doing KSC before the cruise, and WDW afterwards. Two families in our travel group leave early tomorrow morning to head to WDW for a few days before the cruise. I'm jealous. Early tomorrow morning I will be working at a polling place "what is your name and address? Sign here. Here is your ballot, be sure to fill in the bubble completely." Yep, pretty easy stuff, but I'd rather be on vacation!

DH, Just looked up from the newspaper and said he would like to see what
the hardware store in mexico has. I must admit I also would be curoius too.
Sorry Dad taugt us to do stuff around the house and work on cars, I am afraid my DD's would like the trip as well. Sorry Ladies Dress shopping just for the fun of it is not up my alley. Now if we are talking Winnie the Pooh
clothes (shhhhh dont tell DSis). She thinks I already have to many Pooh
clothes. But he is sooooo cute. :lmao:

I was in bed but I cannot shut down, so I thought I would double check the
suitcases, Okay I must have tempory ADD cuz I can't stay on task.
Is there anyone out there with the same problem.....I want to go now I just
can't stand the wait. DH is reading the newspaper so calmly,I just do not get
that. DSis is at work and So is the rest of the family for the most part.
I guess Lunesta and I will be reaquainted for the next two days. NO NO No
I don't want to go to bed. I not tired.. (sound familiar).

I think I could probably walk to Disney with the energy I have building up
inside of me right now. :bounce: :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :yay:
