Jackie (ibouncetoo) is the one who ordered the dis braclets - just pm her with your info (sizes and how many you want) she'll pm you back with amount due, no she doesn't have a paypal account, but I'm sure she'll take checks... hope I'm not speaking out of turn here....

HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!

Peggy, Pat and her husband's bracelets are part of the 18 I ordered. Jackie is mailing them to me, and I am giving Pat's to needalatte who will see Pat at WDW before we board the ship. Sorry if we've confused anyone. :teeth:

Hello everyone sorry I was not with you to chat on Tuesday. Had a very exciting Saturday and have not relaxed as of yet. Met with some cousins and one Aunt in Mahopac NY that I had not seen since 1963 when I was a very young teen. I last saw a couple of cousins in 74 then again 83. The one I am closest with I saw in 94. She and I have always keep in touch over the years as we are the same age and were always together as kids. We met so that we could plan a reunion in 2007 with other cousins that have not been seen in a long time. We only talked about plans for about 30 min and then it was back to catching up. I thought my husband would feel left out, but most of the men moved into the dinning room to talk and we all stayed in the kitchen where all good wenches stay. :rotfl2: So what went on during the chat? Any info that needs to be past along? I really missed the chat, but as I said with all the excitment I think my brain had a melt down around 9:30 as I sat down to watch TV :happytv: Before I knew it the time was 2:45AM. It's that after 50 thing where you watch TV about 5 min and are asleep for the next 3 hours.
Thanks ibouncetoo :Pinkbounc for the info on the Navigator sounds interesting. I read the posts on parasaling. I would really like to try it, but being tied to one end of a string and the other to a boat and me in the air, just isn't feeling to safe for me. :sad2:
Dee glad you are having a wonderful time in Vegas. You really need the relaxation before the countdown for the cruise. I am so excited about the cruise that I can hardly contain myself at times. :bounce: Out of nowhere at work I said, "in one month and 6 days I'll be outta here." :moped: Everyone laughed :lmao: Hope everyone had a great day and has a restful evening. See ya soon

Phantom of the Opera is one of our all time favorite musicals. (DW saw it twice in L.A. with Michael Crawford. We saw it together in London. I saw it on Broadway. And we saw the national touring company together in L.A.) Last November, we visited the Garnier Opera House in Paris -- the site of Phantom.

The L.V. production is so new, we wanted to get some feedback before we booked it in October. I read that the L.V. show was shortened to 95 minutes without intermission. But, the feedback sounds promising.

The other show we are considering is Tony Bennett. (DW and I have seen him twice -- at the Hollywood Bowl with Diana Krall, and at the Disney Concert Hall. He is the consummate performer!)

We already have tickets to Cirque du Soleil's Beatles "Love," and are looking forward to it.

Have a great time in L.V.

Don't overlook Pinot Brasserie at your hotel. It's a Joachim Splichal restaurant (as is Patina in L.A. and Catal in Downtown Disney).

Cheers!

Woody

If you are in vegas with kids, be sure to check out Lance Burton's show at the Mirage.

Saw him in May at the Monte Carlo -- a very impressive magician!

Woody you have been to Vegas one to many times. I can not imagine being from this state with that motto...what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Make me want to run out and commit some crime. LOL

I finally made it out of the hotel. I had to stop at rite aid as my lip were killing me. It is dry here and my lovely Dh had to point out that Vegas was in the sdesert. Duh. I wlaked all the way down to MGM and saw the tigers. Very cool. Then I hustled back. I did not know if there was anything worth seeing in NYNY. I took a slew of pictures out side of the hotels and inside the M&M store.

Any input from you frequent visitors? I am saving the Mirage for this weekend.

What? Like stealing lipbalm? LOL!

You walked from the Venetian to the MGM Grand? I'm impressed. The lions at MGM are wonderful. If there are cubs, you can get your picture with them.

Have a great time.

Some of our L.V. "must do's" each time we visit:

Bellagio. Daytime: visit the Conservatory, admire the Dale Chihuly blown glass in the reception area, then have gelato at the gelato shop. Night: enjoy the live band at the Fountain Bar and walk out on the terrace to watch the fountains.

Paris L.V. Enjoy pastries at Lenotre. It's the only one outside Paris, France (and just as good!).

The L.V. weather in October is among the most pleasant. In the summer, it can be over 100 degrees -- in the shade!

Just muggings. (Just kidding!) The best views are on the outside -- the N.Y. skyline. In the evenings, the Dueling Pianos are among the best in L.V.

The Magic used to have Dueling Pianos.

OK first if I have missed anything PLEASE let me know by pm. I am going to try and read all the posts I missed. I had a really had a bad week. We Laid off 2 more people and been toooooooo busy to read or reply to any posts. But our business is really affected by the market and well it's up so let’s hope it makes a difference.

I feel like I am always missing so much by not being able to chat. It is something I would love to be able to do but my life seems to get in the way.

Hi everyone! I'm the obsessed one who checks the DCL site every day. I always put in myself, DH, DS, and DD. Today, I actually came up with a category 12! It seems like there are alot of cabins still available. So what do you say we all get a nice cabin upgrade? I'd even be willing to pay for one at the port, but it's also tempting to convince DH to save that $1000 for a deposit to rebook on board.

Only 5 weeks from tomorrow, and we're on a plane! :cool1:
