. Getting really excited now! When exactly can us 75 dayers logon next week to book excursions?

Hey you guys!!!!

Is this midnight-3AM the night of the 27/28 or the night of the 28/29??????

night of 27/28....I know I will be up! Got to get my spa and my palo ressies....then I will have one ressie for each cabin and will have to get them to make it a four-top table when we get there on Saturday.... :cool1:

Thanks Becky.....I'd totally lost confidence in my counting abilities!

Also, you can make a reservation for 3-4 when you book. When you are on the Palo section there is a 'drop down' for selecting 1-2 or 3-4. Technically you should be able to make a Palo reservation for 3-4 people for EACH stateroom.....at least that's what I've been told. Perhaps someone with personal experience can verify that.

ibouncetoo and tggrdisney - THANKS!!

I'm hoping to get the stingray excursion for 1 of our cc days. :) I'm also still debating the glass bottom boats at cc -- I've heard such mixed reviews that I'm still not sure to book it or not.

dds have started a countdown calendar and are getting their pin trading lanyards ready. Now to find pirate costumes for them...

I looked for that darn drop down and couldn't find it...It pops up now that there aren't any ressie's available...It automatically defaulted to 1-2 adults...I will look again when I do ours and then maybe I can cancel theirs...I would prefer not to have to do anything after we get on board...I want to eat and relax....did I mention eat! :)

Yeah, I realized and posted over on Tagliarchy!!! But thanks.

Cute graphics ladies! :thumbsup2

Yes, as long as there is space available, you should be able to get ressies for 3-4 people for each cabin for Palo.

Thanks so much Michelle! The cruise was voted our "best vacation ever!" by the whole family. Must be why we are so addicted to doing it again!

As for pirate clothes.... Conner's just arrived today pirate:

Someone just outbid me for Jake's costume! Must be another cruiser as no one would be shopping for Halloween this early :surfweb: Must keep looking for pirate wear... :rolleyes1

Pirate clothing for children is now all purchased! Yeah for eBay :thumbsup2 Beware of me... I am one of those last minute bidders :teeth:

Now... if I could only find somewhere that sells latex free snorkeling equipment :surfweb:

Peg I love the signs. So cute!
Wendy
Glad the you have gotten the costumes taken care of.Vito jr really wants the Jack sparrow costume from Disney shopping , but i really do not want to spend 79.99 esp since he wont ware it for halloween. Also how hard is it to make a "movie" of your pictures?

Michelle- That one I did in iMovie, so it was very easy. I've done more complicated ones in FinalCutPro, but for quick enjoyment you can't beat the ease of iMovie. I scrapbook too, but enjoy the added effect of putting the photos to music. :wizard:

Disneyshopping may discount the costume after Halloween, :confused3 but that is cutting it close to cruise time. There is also a "dress up" kit available for Jack Sparrow that is mainly the accessories. You could add other creative stuff to it to make the costume for cheaper than $80.

The items I bought off eBay for my oldest 2 sons were primarily accessories - tunics, sashes, shirt. Stuff I could make if my sewing machine had not died (and I'm too frugal to buy another one right now). I may try to make DH a tunic and sash by hand and forego the whole sewing machine ordeal! This IS pirate attire pirate:

Changed town car pick up to 10am....so we'll be at the ship by 11! :cheer2:

Look for two short/round chicks with feather boas in the CC check in line!

note to self: order boas!

Hello fellow cruisers,

We are starting to get things together. All passports have arrived this week. The pictures are actually not bad. We are starting to put our pirate customes together. Got the bandana, eye patches and tatoos. We are doing the make your own custome thingy. Just to expensive to buy 6 pirate outfits. Tried on the tuxes. Thank God for expandable waist bands. Started highlighted the Navigators for what to do each day. Are having some family squabbles on a few time frames. Had to evoke the "Dad rule". For some odd reason the kids think our family is a democracy. Had to remind them that it is actually a cruel dictatorship. I hope they are showing pirates 2 when we sail. I think we are the only people in the world who haven't seen it yet. Bought 2 bottles of spf 50 sun block at Wal Mart. Going to get the snorkle equipment out of the attic tomorrow to clean and make sure it is still
working.

Count us in on the wrist bands. 6 please. Just let me know how much and where to send the $$$.

Wendy...love the iMovie!! Wonder if DH can do that on his mac?? Oh, and, forgive the ignorant question, but latex is different from silicone, right? We bought silicone snorkel sets at Target the other day for $20ea. DH says they're much nicer than the ones I picked up at the grocery store for the kids to practice in the tub with...(never snorkeled myself, so I'm not a good resource).

Jackie...thanks for the update. Really...what would we do without you? Did you decide on a particular boa? I know sissy would enjoy having one just like "Jackie and Peggy" (you have no individual identities at times, sorry to say!). So, let me know...(Love the graphics, too...but, so confused with the Tagliarchy site...what's the story there???)

David...what no family democracy??? Not here, either...we try to be reasonable, but come on...when they're payin' all the bills, they can have their own little democracy at their OWN house. Until then...

Hope everyone's having a good weekend...

Carolyn

Alrighty then, TIME TO SELECT WRIST BAND WORDING and get ready to order our silicone braclets (actual ordering won't take place for a bit yet though).

First, we have to decide/agree on what the bands should say. We can do two lines of 25 characters. My suggestion:

Twice The Magic 11-11-06....... on one side
Double Dipping DISers............. on the other side

If you have any suggestion on wording PLEASE post it.

We had previously discussed the neon green with glow-in-the dark letters (debossed), which is what other DIS groups have used and liked. Here's the web site if you want to take a look: https://reminderband.com/index.php

Once we do that then I can start taking info for placing the order. We have to order in increments of 20 (so 20 child size, 20 medium, 20 adult). The bands with the glow in the dark fill are $2.20 each. Sizes are Child 5 7/8 inches (kids 4-6) Medium 7 3/8 inches (kids/teens/small adults) and Large 8 3/8 inches (adults). My plan is to order and then mail your bands to you before the cruise (so you can wear them on embarkation day), you can wait till the 3PM DIS meet to get them if you choose. I'll bring all 'leftover' bands with me in case others decide at the last moment they may want one...fee will be one speciality coffee at Cove Cafe ;)

Some of you who are traveling with large groups may want to look at this site for your own custom bands....just remember....if you choose neon green, everyone in your party may be approaced by DISers!

Yes, silicone is different than latex Carolyn, so I may have to go check out our local Target (although I think the seasonal stuff may be gone already).

Yes Jackie- I like the wording you suggested. I want to get 8 adult and 7 medium, 1 child sizes. Tell me when and where to send the $$$

Well, off to Mongolian BBQ for dinner! Have a great Sat. night everyone! :cool1:

David

Just need to know which sizes (see earlier post). I won't be ordering for a few weeks yet (note to self: get PM box cleaned out in order to exchange mailing addresses with braclet buyers).

Also, if anyone wants to order and for some reason doesn't want to post that here....just PM me.
