We drove ouselves from the Port Orleans Riverside, left around 10am , took a wrong turn, had to turn around. All in all we were there in line by about 11:30 at the latest. The line went fast and the kids had their pictures taken with Mickey, Minnie and Goofy. 12:15 was the boarding time. We went for lunch at Parrot Cay. Nothing to memorable there, next time we will just go to Topsiders, the kids can swim while we eat. And we can also eat the pizza and chicken sandwiches. Then we headed to check the kids in the clubs and get our pagers. Our room was next. We had 5020 the secret porthole room, it has a great if not perfect view. We swam for awhile, had some of our hard lemonade that we brought with us. Also lots of pizza, 2 chicken breast sandwiches, and chips, [like i said lunch was OK especially with the kids]. Then they had the announcement for the lifeboat drill, we actually got to our room about 355 for the 4pm drill. Got there on time and waited for the latecomers. Quite hot, glad i came in my bathing suit.
We went to the sailaway party, very crowded, and mostly went on the top deck, above the party, saw the coastguard waveing to us. Then to get ready for dinner. Animators Palate. After dinner the kids wanted the club so we skipped Hercules. We went to Dueling pianos, which was pretty good, then the 70s Disco night. My husband was picked to be one of the Village People, pretty cool. He sais they really trained them how to do all the dance moves. Then we got 2 bottles of Absolute for $16.00 which was the special of the day in the Route 66 shop. They deliver it the last day of the cruise to your room. Got the kids and off to bed. Tommorrow Day at Sea
