Now that I have picked my resort - I have to figure out the best time to go and I keep going back and forth between these two months. I'm having the hardest time with this decision..... Mid/Last week Sept or week before Thanksgiving????

My #1 priority is low crowds. I realize that with certain promos and such the parks are filling up quicker than they did in the past, but when choosing the best time to go - I look at crowd level first.
Would you say that both of these months have about equal crowd level? I know that the cost for both is pretty much the same.

I've looked at past crowd levels and they look to be about equal. So I guess my question....if you had to choose what month to visit (if it were between those two) then what would you choose? :confused3

As someone who lives in Florida, I would suggest November. September heat/humidity can be oppressive. I honestly think that Aug./Sep. are the worst months for Florida weather.

I can only really speak for the week before Thanksgiving because that is when I went this past year. Crowd levels were great compared what I am used to during the summer and spring break. Also, the weather was perfect. It was nice to not be a sweaty mess when I came home from the parks.

We LOVE our Sept. trips, its still nice and warm. In Nov. you can catch colder weather and we really hate that (even though we loved the Osborne lights show). I'll take hot and humid over any kind of chill any day.

I would suggest the week before Thanksgiving. We went Nov 17-23 last year and it was perfect. The Christmas decorations were up, the weather was great and the crowds were pretty thin. You also get the Osborne lights as well as all the gingerbread displays. However if you want Halloween and Food & Wine then I would say end of Sept. It is pretty warm at that time of year but there are lots of things to do. The lines are not bad at this time either. We are doing Sept 27-Oct 4 this year. The way I look at it is, which do you prefer more, Halloween or Christmas and which decorations would you be more interested in seeing. Each time has special events happening. Whichever you choose though you will have a great time. :thumbsup2
