Nov. Cruise

We are cruising for the first time on the Wonder in Nov. We are in 6640 and 6642,ajoining rooms with Nav. verandahs. Anyone familiar with these rooms. I have reserved the night before at the Radisson. What else do I need to know. Husband and son want to do the fishing trip at Castaway cay. Any and all info will be appreciated.

Which dates are you cruising in November?

I can't help you with specific rooms, but I've been on Deck 6 twice (6085 and 6083) and I loved it. You're halfway between everywhere--and there's a laundry room right on that deck.

We had a Navigator's Verandah on Deck 5 on our last cruise, and it was wonderful. Click on the first link in my sig below (December 2004) to see some pictures!

We cruised last nov. and have another booked for this coming nov, we'll be on the Nov. 5 7-day Western ... and I can't wait.

Haven't stayed in either of those rooms, so I can't comment on that. But we did stay at the Radisson the night before our last cruise, and will do so again. Are you booking the shuttle from the Radisson to the port? If so, I have a piece of advice ... be patient. We were booked on the 11am shuttle and didn't actually get put onto a shuttle until 11:45. It was hard to keep 2 kids quiet and entertained for an hour (they ask you to show up 15 minutes before your scheduled shuttle departure) while standing on a sidewalk with all of our luggage and a bunch of other people and their luggage all waiting to get to their ship. This time, I think we're going to keep our rental car until the morning we depart. We'll take the rental car to the boat. I'll have DH drop me and the kids off at there with the luggage and he can then scoot over and drop off the rental car. That way he only has himself to get back to the ship on the rental car shuttle.

We stayed at the Radisson the night before also ... kept the rental car and the next morning returned it to Budget, and let the Budget shuttle drop us off at the terminal (got there before the first Radisson shuttle ever arrived).

We are going in November, but not until later. We booked the land/sea package. We are staying in a Nav. Verandah too, 7620. Can't answer your questions yet because I've never been on a cruise. Just wanted to say hi.

Hey Paticake - we'll be there with you! I won a 4 day cruise on the Wonder from our local newspaper. I am taking my 3 sisters. We are in a cat 11 inside room on Deck 6 so we might be neighbors! (I can't remember the stateroom # right now). It is a virgin voyage for one of my sisters!!
