Just wondering how many of you ordered the Lobster Tail on Thanksgiving. I did and was very disappointed with it. It said baby shrimp butter, which to me meant baby shrimp in butter, but when it came out there was red stuff on it, too. The red stuff was spicy hot. I sent it right back and our table mate sent hers back too. I had been so looking forward to having Lobster Tail for my birthday dinner. It took 3 tries before our Head Server was able to bring out tails with nothing on them. The first time they brought it back without the shrimp but it still had the hot stuff on it. By the time the plain ones came, everyone at our table was almost finished eating & I had an upset stomach because I was sooo hungry and upset. I couldn't even finish one. Was anyone else who ordered it disappointed like me. I did go down to guest services the next day and asked to see the menu to see for myself that it wasn't mentioned anywhere that it was spicy or hot & then I explained what had happened. They tried to blame it on our waitstaff for no telling us it was spicy. Our waitstaff said they had never seen it made that way before and I believe them because this was the first time in all our cruises I have seen this either & nowhere in the menu description did it say anything.
So... first of all, sorry for barging in on your meet thread. I don't really expect anyone will see this message, but on the off chance that someone does and on the even more off chance that that someone has kept their personal navigators from this cruise...would you mind sharing? I'm going on the Thanksgiving cruise this year and it would be great to have an idea of what to expect...
