Hi! Myself, my husband and was as my son will be on the cruise as well and we would love to participate in the FE! As a matter of fact my mother in law will be making our FE so I hope it turns out well! Please let me know what we need to do to participate as this will be our first time participating. Last year April '12 we did the Magic over Easter--Easter Carib. and LOVED IT! We can not wait to go on the Fantasy and spend Thanksgiving aboard. Look forward to hearing and participating with you all! See ya real soon!

In order to participate, you need to make or buy a small gift for each person on the FE list. If you want, you can do one gift for each stateroom. A couple of examples ...... we got a mouse pad that someone designed with our cruise date printed on it with a photo of the Dream at Castaway Cay. And someone got us these fortune cookie with Disney sayings in them.

Also, a lot of great FE ideas on the DIS. All of the link are on post #18 of this thread.

For those that have already been on the Dream or Fantasy, can you fill me in on some of the lesser known (unadvertised) opportunities on-board the ship for both kids and adults? One of my daughter's favorites on previous cruises was Tea with Alice. I've read some things about special tours and of course the different tastings, but are there other recommendations?

And can you still drop off pillow cases or t-shirts at guest services to be signed by the characters (along with a bag of candy as thanks, of course)?

I've been on the Dream, not the Fantasy yet. We were able to drop things off at guest services for signing. I'm not sure if the Fantasy has special events like Tea with Alice. I'd love to find out too!

My family and I are joining this cruise along with the rest of you. Please add us to the FE list. I've participated in the past on a NYE cruise and my kids loved coming back to find new things in FE. I posted on the first page, but it seemed so far away, kind of got back into the real world, and haven't checked lately. This is our first cruise. We are in room 12512. I'm so overwhelmed in some ways, excited in others. Gotta look into this FE thing. Today is the first time I have read anything about it. Since we booked our cruise, my father in law passed away and my mom in law has decided to come along and will have her own room. She will hang with us a lot and hopefully meet some fun peeps too.

I hate to remove someone from the list, but it isn't fair for people to make gifts for others that aren't going to participate or have decided not to take this cruise.

We had that happen on our last cruise. There were a couple of families that never participated and never responded. So there were some wasted FE gifts. So ... if I don't hear from these people in the next month or two, I will assume they are no longer interested in participating and remove them from the list.
