I wouldn't stay at the budget's for your honeymoon. If you can do a moderate (or deluxe if budget allows) I would do that! You will be happy with the PORFQ

OK couple things!

First- What do you suggest in terms of making reservations for the actual hotel? I was planning on making my reservations for the POFQ early this month, but am running extremely tight on funds and Christmas stuff... so would I be good with booking in Jan or Feb, and still getting my dates? Or should I book now?

I tweaked my Dining Plan a little bit! Suggestions? Concerns?

POFQ is pretty small, so I'd book as soon as possible. I don't think waiting until after Christmas should be problematic, though, especially since you're going at a not terribly busy time of year.

I have a question about your math - You list 18 credits per person, but your ADRs are based on a 7 night stay. Are you planning a split stay or did you miscount somewhere? Because if the days of dining plans you've posted are the entirety of your DxDDP package, you'll have 21 credits per person to use.

So I would be good booking the POFQ probably in Jan.? And they charge $200 correct? And then you pay the remaining balance 45 prior to the trip?

And depending on PINs and public codes, if I call when the deal is first announced, depending on availability, they should be able to modify my reservation for the new price?

Haha... so somewhere in my mind I was thinking 7 days as in we will be there for 7 days, within the parks, and thinking nights, would be 6 if it was 7 days... so I did 6x3 for 18 credits... haha but you are exactly right, I would have 21! :woohoo:
SO that means another signature dinner is in order!! :rotfl:

Perhaps for when we get there the first night, before we hit the MK...

Any suggestions for another signature? I had thought about Jiko...

Yes, a $200.00 per reservation is required and you pay your balace 45 days prior.

:)

So, I am back! :goodvibes

We got the Honeymoon booked Monday night for the POFQ from November 12-19th.

I got with my brother over the holiday, in which case he is a crazed Disney fanatic like me, and has done several dining plans, so he helped me with mine!

I reworked a few things, based on location of the dining and closeness to the parks and such. I do realize that three table-services in one day might be a bit much, however, I will say, for the breakfasts, I am a very lite breakfast eater as well as my DF, and we are more so going for the characters and getting into the parks early. So we won't be filled up much by those. Plus, I tried to work it so that the days with 3 meals, we are in the same park all day.

Granted the days might shift when the Nov. calendar comes out, and depending on EMH and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas dates, Fantastmic, etc. But all I would have to do it just flip flop days, but the dining will stay the same.

(oh and the times beside each ADR are just for me to gauge what times I am dealing with when looking into availabilities)

We spent our HM at Disney as well and ate some fabulous meals, but also just enjoyed each other's company. Touring the resorts is a great activity and will make it feel as though you are traveling the world.

Here are some other restaurants that are romantic:
Narcoosee
Artist Point
Citricos
Bistro de Paris

I am also planning my honeymoon right now - we are going in early September so I am in the middle of figuring out my dining schedule as well. We only have the regular dining plan (not the deluxe) and we still want to do some signature places so there are several we will be paying OOP. I am staying at POR.

Of the ones you've mentioned, I've eaten at the Sci-Fi Diner, The Crystal Palace, and Cinderella's Royal Table. Personally, I liked all three - the second two are really good for characters. We are having trouble figuring out all of the places we want to go for food!
