Nov 10, 2014- Dream is alive - 2 days in Paradise and a Day at Sea

The only major difference between the Fantasy and Dream for us is the Satellite falls area. I do miss that on the Dream.

We'll miss them too, as we only found them on the very last day of our Fantasy cruise in 2012 and didn't have the opportunity to enjoy them. Regardless, I am certain it will still be a perfect place to watch the sunset.

I wonder what Christmas theme activities they will have on our cruise. Has anyone been on a holiday cruise before? We would love to get some 'wintery' photos on Castaway Cay (or on the ship) for our Christmas cards.

My wife will miss it if she gets seasick again, since that's where she slept (along with about 100 other peaked looking people) the first full afternoon at sea after not getting a good night's sleep the night before.

Our family would also like to participate in the FE 11/10/14 DREAM. Can someone tell me how or where to sign up if there is a group. This is our 2nd cruise but first time to give the FE a try.

Does your wife use anything for sea sickness? I get motion sick on a merry-go-round! I use a combo of Bonine and ginger capsules and have no problem with sea sickness.

Got my GTY assignments today. Booked a 5E and a 5D. We got 7688 (5E) & 10018 5A). One is Aft and the other is Fwd. With us being linked I was hoping we would be closer together. Oh well....we will have to meet in the middle!

XMOM, don't worry, you should be able to book brunch when you board. I have done that in the past with no problems. Just get to Palo as soon as you board to get what you want.

Just to clarify... there are two distinct/separate groups that were formed on Facebook primarily to support the development of fish extender lists.

The list was still forming up until about a month ago, and then after final payments were due, people had a chance to finalize their information for either of the lists, and now the lists are "closed." Closed NOT as in "we're a special private group and nobody can join" but closed as in "they finalized the list and people have been putting their FE items together based on their lists and neither group is accepting new additions to the list at this time."

On the one hand we still have a month to go, but on the other hand, it looks like a lot of people wanted plenty of time to take care of putting their FE gifts together.

In those two groups there are also subgroups of FE lists. I don't do FE, so I don't know how many there are, but I'm guessing there will be at least 4 different FE groups, seeing as each Facebook group has a large contingent of people cruising (with some duplication).

Then there are those of us who just bought a bunch of pixie dust...
