Nov 10 - 13 - What's going on at WDW?

I was looking at dates for a weekend getaway and my dates are around this time. The Holiday Savings discount on rooms is blocked out then. Is something going on then at WDW? If it's going to mean huge crowds, I'd rather go a different weekend.

Veteran's Day holiday weekend, last weekend for F&W, and we'll know who the next president is.

Veterans Day is November 11th as usual.

Also last year I believe they taped the Christmas Day parade that week.

Friday 11/11 is a Federal Holiday. If your point was about a missed apostrophe I fixed that for you.

Well, shoot lol. We don't get off 11/11 at my place of work, so I probably just didn't pay attention. It's still the cheapest long weekend of my options, so maybe I'll still go, but that changes things. I was hoping mid-November would mean less crowds

The Christmas decorations are not up at EPCOT until after F&W, but we were there Nov 4- 10 last year and everywhere else was very festive! The castle lights and Jingle Cruise debuted on Nov 4 at MK, Goofy Santa was out at DHS, and AK was up as well! The Christmas parties start then!

As for crowds - well, it's hard to say but with Election Day on the 8th and Veterans Day on the 11th - there are many more kids besides those in Jersey that are likely to be there that week with few school days to miss. Will it be 'tooooo crowded'?? Probably not - but it likely won't be empty.

Utilize Rope Drop and Late Nights and a good touring plan and you will be fine. Not to be a jinx but you have a great shot at very pleasant weather at that time!
